Awards Moderator HarmonicGenerator Posted January 31, 2025 Awards Moderator Posted January 31, 2025 NOW it's Rumble time! Thank you @tiger_rick! Quote
theringmaster Posted January 31, 2025 Posted January 31, 2025 Roxanne will eliminate Bayley, there's my prediction. Quote
Paid Members tiger_rick Posted January 31, 2025 Paid Members Posted January 31, 2025 My takeaway from the stats is that Liv Morgan and Natalya have been in all the women's Rumbles. Is that likely to continue this year? Quote

Paid Members Callum1993 Posted January 31, 2025 Paid Members Posted January 31, 2025 Punk or Logan to win the Men’s Rumble for me. Charlotte seems the obvious pick for the women but wouldn’t rule out Belair or Iyo. Could they strap the rocket to Jordynne Grace now she’s left TNA and likely to come in? Looks like a great show. Nowhere near ready, don't let 2-3 good matches fool you. She is NXT bound. TBF, when have WWE truly done this? It's a concept we all know but reality is every person with 'the rocket attached to them' has been carefully prepared. Quote

You might be right, but the mad thing is, the NXT women’s roster is so stacked that I wouldn’t be shocked at all if they decided to have her immediately appear on the main roster. It’s probably more likely that she fills the gap left by Roxanne Perez, with her getting called up; but I wouldn’t be surprised at all if she bypassed NXT. Quote

See I thought that but then I saw something about Giulia wanting to move to the main roster fairly quickly (I think), so NXT might need someone like Jordynne over the next couple of years. Suppose it depends what her ambitions are too. Quote
Vamp Posted January 31, 2025 Posted January 31, 2025 DIY vs. MCMG feels like the 2025 version of a Kenzo Suzuki or Heidenrich match. Although at least their matches were relatively short. You just know that match is gonna go on forever. Quote

DavidB6937 Posted January 31, 2025 Posted January 31, 2025 Don't know why but I didn't realise this was Saturday night rather than Sunday. So I'll definitely be watching as much as I can live. Thought I was going to be very tired for work on Monday. Quote
WyattSheepMask Posted January 31, 2025 Posted January 31, 2025 Has The Rock defo said he’s not doing Wrestlemania? Why do I feel like he’s going to declare himself as #31? Would get him some mega heat and set up him vs Cody which they seemed to be hinting at last year. Im not saying g this is a good idea by the way, but it would certainly be a way to get heat on him and whoever he screws over for a match somewhere down the line Quote

Go back and watch Heidenreich/Taker or Kenzo Suzuki vs Billy Gunn and tell me if those don’t feel neverending… It’s pretty clear to me that this will be a well wrestled match, and it might even end up being a stand-out match for them; but the problem for me is that MCMG haven’t been able to show any personality. There’s no reason to care about them winning the tag titles again. It’s a shame too, as Alex Shelley has shown in the past just how fun he can be. I’ve always found Sabin to be a bit dull, though. I reckon they’ll turn heel at some point in the next 12-months, and everyone who is down on them right now - and I’m including myself in that - will be won right over. Quote
Vamp Posted January 31, 2025 Posted January 31, 2025 I hope I'm wrong but I think the tag match will both feel never ending and be never ending. The SmackDown tag matches have been dull as fuck on TV. I don't see any reason why that won't be triply so at the Rumble. Quote
