You can almost hear poor Mike Tenay trying to make it work. I’m hoping the intro music becomes a fun rolling feature, where it changes every week. Running Spotify Radio on The Pointer Sisters suggests the following tracks, which would all be brilliant. “Hungry Eyes,” from Dirty Dancing. ”Love Really Hurts Without You,” by Billy Ocean. “September,” by Earth, Wind & Fire. “Don’t You Want Me,” by The Human League. “(I Just) Died In Your Arms,” by Cutting Crew. May as well be called WOKE or SEETHE or SKIBIDI. AEW absolutely blew whatever money they paid for him as well. They must be paying out the arse for not just an old injury prone Edge, but the worst version of him too. Not the prime Rated R Superstar Edge, or even tag team specialist goofy Edge, they got the Greatest Wrestling Match Ever version of Edge that takes himself really seriously. It was fun while it lasted, but AEW has a tendency to let friends run storylines with their pals for far too long. Cage having the contract gives me the fear a little. I do eventually want to see them reunite, but there’s no need to have them interact again any time soon except in passing. Quote
