Another minor thought/spoiler from last night’s show r/e ROH:

ROH as a brand is so dead. Should be a crime to have to watch an Angelico match back to back with a Serpentico match. Proper bottom of the barrel stuff.

It really struck me during this show that it's absolutely mad you've got all these top guys and rising stars going hell for leather to win this gruelling month-long tournament when the prize is the 4th most prestigious men's singles title in a company that has a billion titles. Whereas winning an open invite battle royal on Wednesday gets you a fast pass to a world title shot. The whole thing is a G1 take-off anyway, so give the winner a shot at the big belt.

I thought that women's segment was absolutely awful but yes, she definitely made it worth watching.

Pretty baffling that a single victory over Josh Alexander made Swerve Strickland number one contender to the World title. Bring back the ranking system!

Apart from the Continental Classic nothing much of worth happening right now. Can they drag it out for another month? Already sad it's almost over.

PAC is one of my all time favourites, but there stands a very good chance that he's gonna slow that match right down and make it 17 minutes of rest holds and clubberin'.

Been let down by two chaps that were coming with me and the lad, meaning I have two spare tickets for the show.

Happy for these to go to a good home, ideally someone who can't afford to take their kid to the show and wants them for a small price.

Downside is you'll have to sit with me and my son 😂

Upside is it's in one of the suites, with fantastic views. Food and drink is unfortunately not included.

The battle royal isn’t even for the ring is it? It’s to face MJF for the ring at Saturday’s taping in New York then the winner faces the winner of the Joe/Hangman/Swerve match for the title at New Year’s Smash or did I read the graphics wrong for that?

Isn’t it normally the Battle Royal stops when it comes down to the last 2 then they have a match the next week for the ring?

I think it said the title match is at Maximum Carnage Dynamite in mid January.

Might have been the first 2-3 like that. Since MJF kept winning, at some point it became battle royal winner v. MJF. Not sure what the plan is this time.
