The King Of Swing Posted December 20, 2025 Posted December 20, 2025 Already looking forward to MJF, fucking off again. Boring cunt. Quote
WyattSheepMask Posted December 20, 2025 Posted December 20, 2025 I stopped watching the TV regularly earlier this year (a mixture of lack of of time and dwindling interest), but I thought MJF had already cashed in his Title Match contract at Forbidden Door? Has he won another Contract Match since then? Quote

RedTwoster Posted December 21, 2025 Posted December 21, 2025 (edited) The final hour of Collision was fun, but it’s once again highlighted how much their abundance of titles has fucked them over. Okada is by far and away their best heel character. He’s probably the best heel in wrestling right now. He doesn’t always give it 100% in the ring, but his facial expressions are second to none so that becomes a bit irrelevant. He feels like a megastar every time he wrestles, and the fact he’s not the one who dethroned Hangman is a missed opportunity. Switch Joe and Okada’s roles around, and you suddenly get a company that feels much healthier. Joe would be a decent Unified champ, Okada would be a tremendous World Champion. Which brings me on to Kevin Knight beating him. Time will tell what this does for Knight, but Okada’s star quality was evident throughout the match. He has the best facial expressions I’ve ever seen in wrestling, and it elevates everything he does. He’s not hurt at all by the loss, and Knight is in a position now where he could benefit significantly from being in the CC. I’m cynical as to whether he should, though. He’s not shown enough charisma for me to feel like he merits the push he’s getting here. AEW does need to elevate some of its younger stars, and time will tell as to whether he’s the right choice, or another Jack Perry or Sammy Guevara. Edited December 21, 2025 by RedTwoster Quote
The King Of Swing Posted December 21, 2025 Posted December 21, 2025 I personally prefer Knight and Bailey as a team, more than as singles wrestlers. Hope they get a run with the belts. Mone's fall from grace is going nicely. Would have preferred a more decisive loss, though. With Alex WINDSOR going over, I guess we won't be seeing Riho again for another 12 months. Quote

I think they’re missing a trick with Caster and Bowens as potential singles wrestlers, but Knight and Bailey are better off teaming up for the time being, I think. Quote

Spot on. Really, Okada should have dropped the International title by now because it's become a complete non-entity under him. The Casino Gauntlet last month should have been for that title, Okada could have dropped it without being pinned and you could have had Ricochet win that title instead of creating a new one. Poor week of TV I thought with frustrating booking and largely uninteresting matches. I can't get over how taking the title off Hangman has killed so much of my interest in this company. Would have been so easy to keep the title on him, have him feud with Swerve and then drop it in the Spring to Okada. Because Okada is the natural next Champion for sure but it being on Samoa Joe is just a massive shit sandwich they need to rectify quickly. Quote
King Mal the Glorious Posted December 23, 2025 Posted December 23, 2025 Fightful have reported that the Andrade/WWE contract situation is sorted now, so I'd expect him to re-re-debut in AEW any time now. Quote

The King Of Swing Posted December 23, 2025 Posted December 23, 2025 One little thing I really liked on Dynamite, was Smart Mark handing MJF his contract. Quote
