If they did an extra heat at the start, they wouldn’t have situations like this where you can lose in the quarter finals, lose in the semi finals, and still get into the finals.  The first series was similarly ruined due to injuries, so it’s not like it’s an uncommon occurrence.

The Butlins update: Nitro and Viper. 30 minutes of audience participation and an hour for a photo. We sat front row but the queue started the other side of the venue so we got cut off from the queue. Sad times.

Nitro is as fun in real life as he is on TV, and viper was miserable. Top tip, if you're going to watch the show, sit the opposite end to where photo opportunity is, otherwise you'll have disappointed children.

Two gladiators face off with audience participation - passing a balloon to the back of the venue, a quiz and a tug of war. Inspiringly titled "meet the stars of the gladiators". 30 minutes of activity, an hour for photos.

I went to a tour like 30 years ago at Wembley Arena. Fuck knows how much the tickets will be to this though.

I think it's more that they could do to take longer filming each as it's probably quite demanding physically. Don't they try and get it all done over the space of two weeks?

Very good final overall. A good bit of Legend gimmickry, Sabre getting a bit more of a showcase again, and a nail biter of a men’s Eliminator. Happy with both winners.

Decent final, glad Joe won as he was easily the best contender.

No pay off to the Apollo/Sabre relationship angle though

Great final. Fascinating that Mus and Joe were so close in their times - often a simple slip up in the eliminator means the entire point lead from the preceding events gets wiped out completely, but here if Joe hadn't won the events he wouldn't have had the necessary time to maintain his lead. As for the women's championship, I felt the winner was a bit of a foregone conclusion. Amanda would probably have won even against Zavia but I didn't realise until they played the 'route to the final' montage that Aneila had already been knocked out twice - once against Amanda in the quarters!

You're right @WyattSheepMask that they didn't pay off the relationship angle but, being who I am and posting on here, I like that they're leaning even more into the pro wrestling nature of it all. Legend challenging the boys to a stip match on the wall was a great example of it. More, I say! Have Hammer kidnap Barney and challenge Bradley to get back into the spandex one last time!

It's not a UK Tour though. It's a tour that UK fans can attend. Nowhere does it say it's a UK tour.
