Surprised that nobody’s posted about Françoise Hardy not making it to the end:

Utterly wonderful voice which - like many from my generation - I discovered in the mid-nineties, when I had a brief stint of pretending I liked French musicians and actresses to seem intelectual to girls (nod towards Emmanuelle Béart).

Didn’t work, of course, but I did manage to get into quite a lot of her work. She was ace.

Kevin Campbell has passed, only 54.

He’d been unwell but seemed to be making a recovery until just a few days ago.

Seemed like one of the nicest guys on the planet. So, so sad.

Even as a Spurs fan, he never 'bothered' me like some of the other Arsenal players from that era. Like you say, came across as one of the nice guys and very sad to hear. 54 is no age at all.

The Millwall goalie at 26 is even more shocking in many ways.

He was a good player and a really well liked guy at the club. Gutted.

He really started coming into his own as a keeper as well. Genuinely sad for the guy and his family. And no I don't subscribe to all the 'vaccine' stuff. He'll be greatly missed at The Den.
