Right there with you, Deliveroo is shit too and if we can order the odd thing, it's freezing by the time it gets here (due to how far away the takeaway is) and we've paid £5 for delivery

I’ve been getting majorly addicted to Don Simon Lemonade with Raspberry over the last couple of months having discovered it in Iceland when I’ve popped in to get a drink after work. 75p a can (they also do a lime version), ice cold and super refreshing (the lime one is nice too but a bit too tart)

My wife buys the big bottles of them for her after-work drinks when she doesn't want a Coke. She's pretty territorial over them but the times I've managed to grab a swig it's fantastic.

Tesco had the Lemon and Raspberry still Don Simon on offer recently and I really enjoyed it. Tiny bit too diluted, but better than most fruit juices of that price range.

There's a Chinese that's not even 5 minutes' walk from Vicky's, and we get faster service if we phone for delivery than if we walk there and order in person.

There's a pineapple and jalapeño flavour that looks interesting but I'm reluctant to buy a full bottle in case it's rancid. 

Now you see I don't think that Soda stream is worth the cost and faff. Yes you can make a fizzy pop whenever you want to, but it's actually lots more expensive in the long run. It's a good novelty thing, especially if you have nippers, but as I've got older and more outgoings things like that I wouldn't buy or use as just too expensive in comparison

I thought the cream soda one was pretty decent, essentially a mild vanilla pepsi really, but thought the strawberry one was grim. Proper artificial tasting stuff, which I am aware it is, but it tasted really weird to me.

It depends on what you use it for. We drink a lot of sparking water in my household - usually in squash to cheat ourselves in to thinking we are drinking fizzy drinks, so in our instance it is more cost effective and environmentally friendly than buying plastic bottles of sparkling water from the supermarket.

Yeah there is the environmental impact i guess that i hadn't considered, fair point. 

 

I just think adding up the initial outlay, cost of canisters, etc isn't cost effective, but then that's just me.

Dunno what this big Dubai chocolate & pistachio drive is all about - you see the bars in so many shop these days. This is the latest instalment:

It's not bad, to be fair. I really like almond soda, for that marzipan flavour, so was looking forward to seeing if this had a hint of that. There is a bit, but not so much. Can't taste the chocolate in this either, which, to be fair, is probably a blessing, as I'm not a fan of chocolate in water-based drinks.

The local WELCOME shop near me has started doing American and Japanese pop and it's going to be the death of me.

Dr Pepper Blackberry is genuinely one of the nicest fizzy drinks I've ever tasted.

Be nicer if it wasn't zero sugar. There's a Wild Cherry and cream pepsi which isn't zero sugar that I'm hoping to try soon.

Yeah what Boycie said, it's nice but it's got that artificial taste that zero sugar stuff has.
