I don’t know why they brought back the same name if they were planning to change the taste. It’s a really strange decision. The people who liked the original will probably be disappointed (I certainly was) and the people who didn’t like original aren’t going to try it anyway as they’ll assume it’s the same thing. They fucked it a bit here. Quote
Paid Members Hannibal Scorch Posted April 8 Paid Members Posted April 8 Tropical Pepsi Max. Bizarre “fruit” flavour cola. Started ok but got worse with each sip. Do not recommend. Worse than Pepsi Blue. Quote
BarryOVega Posted April 8 Posted April 8 Tried a can of Poppi last week while on a walk, strawberry lemon flavour, was alright, saw a pack of four lemon and lime on offer in Tesco, absolute quality taste, plus I felt good for supporting what I assumed to be a smallish independent company, naturally they’re owned by Pepsi Quote
SoloJones Posted April 8 Posted April 8 Had a quick search and couldn't find any mention of Jarritos in this thread. There's a couple of ones I'm not a big fan of but the majority of the line is very strong, really like the grapefruit. Think they're produced in Mexico, but I've seen them in a few bigger London corner shops for around £2.50. I don't drink much pop any more, so I don't mind dropping a bit extra since they taste great (I'm assuming cane sugar vs whatever the UK puts in their drinks?) and its the occasional treat. The Cola is the *only* alternative to Coca Cola that is worth any time on, IMO. Quote
Members SuperBacon Posted April 8 Author Members Posted April 8 Yeah, Jarritos are wicked. Will always buy one when I see one, usually when I go to Tottenham. Quote
RedTwoster Posted April 8 Posted April 8 @SoloJones - I’m a big fan of the pineapple one, straight from the bottle after it’s been left in the fridge for a few days. Really hits the spot on a warm day. Quote

Yeah I feel like my ideal flavours run from orange to green with pineapple or grapefruit being the sweet spot - the red ones are a little ropier and I've never seen tamarind in the shops. Quote
TheScarlettChad Posted April 8 Posted April 8 Mexican takeaway around the corner from me has Jarrios on sale, they have barely any other drinks Quote

I'd bought the tamarind flavour and guava flavour ones. They are lush, and some shops in my local area stock a limited selection. Quote
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted May 21 Paid Members Posted May 21 The shop in the Printworks in Manchester sells lime Fanta (as well as watermelon and a couple of other flavours I couldn't figure out) and it's awesome. I love lime flavoured stuff anyway but this is really good and I'll have to take a bunch of bottles home after seeing Hokum. Quote
Merzbow Posted May 21 Posted May 21 Lime is such an underutilized flavour over here, arguably nicer than lemon but you never see much around. Quote
Paid Members gmoney Posted May 21 Paid Members Posted May 21 Lime drinks go great with curry, if you're a non boozer and can't have a lager. Quote
