Paid Members FLips Posted June 17 Paid Members Posted June 17 Cherry and Vanilla Pepsi Max tastes like play-doh smells. Rancid. I’ve got the Raspberry Ripple one to try too but this one hasn’t filled me with confidence. Quote

I stopped drinking it years ago as even on tap in pubs/ restaurants it’s overly sweet I have however got back into drinking Tizer on a semi regular basis as the B&M near my work sell it for 40p a can, never cold but always hits me with a nostalgic kick on the first sip Quote

Paid Members Lorne Malvo Posted June 18 Paid Members Posted June 18 I don't deviate much from classic full-fat Coca-Cola / Pepsi. But the shop was out of both today so I had Coca-Cola Cherry for the first time in probably 15+ years. Bloody nice ennit? Quote

I think I prefer it these days, an elite drink that the "woke sugar mob" haven't meddled with too much. If I'm getting a Tesco meal deal, it's always a Cherry Coke. Quote

Mr_Danger Posted June 18 Posted June 18 What’s the nicest none Pepsi none Coke cola? I remember liking Virgin Cola and Sainsbury’s used to do a really nice own brand one but all the other ones taste like they’re a completely different drink. I tried some of my lads Jarritos Cola and it wasn’t bad. Quote
Members SuperBacon Posted June 18 Author Members Posted June 18 Yeah I like a Jarritos, and and don't mind Barr Cola, but that's VERY fizzy. Karma Cola and Fentimans and all that bollocks are fine, but they ain't a coke, and shouldn't be treated as such. Tesco do a cracking zero sugar Cherry Coke and it's 49p for 2 litres. You can't whack that. Quote
Merzbow Posted June 18 Posted June 18 Fentimans is painfully overrated and overpriced, not good. Fritz-Kola was very nice when I could find it, expensive again but it was a treat at gigs down the local Eastern European art-space. Gaza Cola is decent, plus it's not funding any Israeli friendly corpos. Quote

Merzbow Posted June 18 Posted June 18 Speaking of Cola I had a can of Korean Peach Pepsi from Home Bargains, it's not very nice. Not my hand. There's supposedly a Mojito flavour too, I'd want to try it but outside of the usual Cherry I don't think most Pepsi flavours work. Lime is ok. Quote

It got good packaging, and the price makes you think it'll be premium, but it's a load of bollocks. Their ginger beer isn't all that either. Quote
