Was OK, but Schirripa is not a great podcaster, talking over Imperioli (who I could listen to all day) and just generally being a bit shit. Paid Members TheBurningRed Posted January 23 Paid Members Share Posted January 23 It didn’t. Steve Schirripa ruined the whole podcast. I could barely get through two episodes and I heard it didn’t improve.

Paid Members stumobir Posted January 23 Paid Members Share Posted January 23 (edited) In terms of who’s innocent that got whacked: Spoiler Surely you could count Pauli’s mum’s mate Minn. Sure she was a bit of a cow to poor old Nucci but hardly deserving of a whacking. “ya got any coffee?” Unbelievably jealous of anyone getting to watch The Sopranos for the first time. I must have watched it through at least five times now, and take something different from it every time, but nothing will ever beat that first watch, I was engrossed. edit: here’s a Mastermind Sopranos specialist subject for my fellow diehards to have a crack at. One wrong. I didn’t know the British directors name. I did recently apply for Mastermind with The Sopranos as my specialist subject.

The way he says 'cunt' in that scene is absolute art. @TheBurningRed I have as well a while ago, but it's been done twice now, so I don't think they'll choose it again. The fanooks. Paid Members Lorne Malvo Posted January 23 Paid Members Share Posted January 23 Please don't do a Sopranos watchalong. I've already got too much on my watchlist but I'd still have to take part.
Awards Moderator Onyx2 Posted January 23 Awards Moderator Share Posted January 23 Re: Talking Sopranos podcast agree with the above. I listened to all of them and Schirrpa is... not good. He's amusing but comes across grouchy. Imperioli is just a cool motherfucker. Their black book is the selling point, bringing in just about everyone who worked on the show who are interesting in themselves. Quite a few surprised me, the odd casting director and producer who had incredible stories of blagging their way into TV and Meadow Soprano were highlights. But overall there is too much podcast. Each episode is at least 2 hours, the episode walk through (the good bit) about 45 minutes. A missed opportunity.
Mr_Danger
Steve Shirripa’s whole schtick of saying something a bit off then going “I suppose I’m not meant to say that” was too much for me. Michael Imperioli was great which is why you should definitely watch him in White Lotus series 2 to find out what Christopher would have become if he took to Hollywood. I really should watch this, but if he doesn't get the "drop" on someone, I will be very, very disappointed. "I must be loyle to my capo" On the subject of Christopher, I thought Cleaver was actually a decent idea. Paid Members FelatioLips Posted January 23 Author Paid Members Share Posted January 23 Season 4 has been a slog at times with all the cutaways to Christopher shooting up heroin (I hate injections) so imagine my relief when he crushed a dog and got sent packing. In fact Season 4 as a whole hasn't been as good as the previous three, but it's still been good.
