I'm hoping it leads to Jeff doing the Midnight Rider/Charlie Brown From Outta Town gimmick under a mask.

Oh no, it's going to be "Willow".. isn't it?

EDIT: Damn, I was wishing it was Hardy leaving too much.

Really enjoyed that and kept me engrossed from start to finish which hasn’t happened in months. Matches all fun and led to something for the ppv, one of the best ppv set up shows they have done

I thought last week's show was better. Mostly just because the Forbidden Door stuff doesn't get me overly hyped if I'm honest. Obviously it'll be another amazing show but I do prefer the usual AEW stuff rather than the NJPW bubble. But yeah, they've certainly tried to give it a good build up.

Punk now having a match at Forbidden Door will surely now put to bed all the nonsense that him and the Elite can't be in the same building.

course not. This was Meltzer from earlier in the day when it was known that Punk would be at Dynamite.

I don't think there's anyone in AEW that drains all the enthusiasm from me quicker than Action Andretti, he's certainly no 1-2-3 Kid and I wish that win over Jericho never happened.

Fun show though, and the Forbidden Door build has felt much more natural this time around without weeks of fuck all really happening.

Really enjoyed this week's show. There was enough chaotic brawls, promos and actual story building between matches to stop me getting bored and fast forwarding half of it like I usually do. The Forbidden Door card looks really good on paper but still on the fence about getting it.

Real fun show again, I'm pumped for the PPV.

That pop for Punk was Hogan in the 80s big. Remember when people were saying he might get booed in Chicago?

I feel similarly. I certainly have more investment than I did last year, but most matches feel inconsequential in the grand scheme of things; and I think I need consequences to really feel invested in a show.

It’s a scientific fact that AEW’s product is improved ten-told whenever Eddie Kingston is knocking about. So great to have him back. Even when he’s not in the segment, at any moment he could run in with a massive flat screen TV to throw at someone.
