Wrestling Entertainment Series

[The Reverend]

Considering most of the news about this has been put out today, I think filling the Motorpoint in less than a month seems a tad bit ambitious. All very strange:

No one would sign them after WWE let them go so they decide to make their own promotion?

One of the stranger things i've seen pop up in a while. Reminds me of 5* Wrestling running arenas with no real thought or money behind it.

Why are they launching something in Nottingham of all places? What's the link? Feels pretty random.

[Infinity Land]

Does seem random. The Arena doesn't seem to have much on this summer on their events page. Maybe they were looking around for an arena to make a splash and they got a really good rate?

There’s money behind it I’m sure. Originally this was reported as a promotion coming out of Dubai https://cultaholic.com/posts/report-authors-of-pain-returning-to-pro-wrestling

By money i'm meaning more beyond booking buildings and talent. There needs to have been investment in the marketing to get people into the building, and I doubt there's much effort put it the production to get people to keep watching it.

Wasn’t there a Nottingham based promotion just before the pandemic started?  They were constantly booking Japanese imports, don’t remember the name.

In wrestling? I don't believe it!

[Keith Houchen]

Hopefully this is the Freddie Prinze Jr promotion!

[RoryT]

The Kinahan cartel dipping their toes into wrestling now? ?

[air_raid]

The future of “sports entertainment?” Not sure running with a Vinceism is a great way to hook Indy fans.

Either way, looking forward to seeing who some of the “biggest names in professional wrestling” are. Rikishi vs Crimson main event, hopefully.

[Ro_y Disco]

Their two Instagram posts have comments from Nia Jax and Mojo Rawley. Flies to shit.

Less than a month out and no names included in your press release other than the guys running the show. It’s all very Waynestock at the moment

As long as we don't have to see the crack in Tatankas bottom.
