I think his NXT renaissance standing has dipped massively over a few years of turgid WrestleMania matches and AEW providing a sort of Kliq-free space a lot of people were able to suddenly talk with renewed energy about how they were sick of the real WWE associated talents, but Triple H rules. Guy's had a huge amount of memorable matches and angles and right until the end was rarely dull. Even when he was really shit he was like that Banter FC (I know, sorry) thing people go on about in football, where he was still a laugh to talk about. A proper stalwart. Quote
