Wrestling News - How Do You Read Yours?

After reading Twitter and seeing Sean Ross Sapp throwing a paddy about people giving him shit and also the talk about Big Dave in the Meltzer thread, it got me wondering if there are actually many reliable news sites anymore that don't just regugatate the usually stories from Meltzer etc.

So I ask, how to you read / get your wrestling news? Do you read the observer? Fightful Select? PW Torch? A site you've used for years or a channel on YouTube?

For me, I mainly watch the news videos on WhatCulture or Cultaholic each day, or usually if something is trending on twitter. I don't think I specifically read a certain site anymore or read articles.

I read the Observer and use a couple of forums and that more than satisfies my needs.  I occasionally listen to WOR if there is a subject or guest I'm interested in, but that is no longer a regular occurrence any more.

I've mentioned it previously but I unfollowed all wrestling related accounts on Twitter a long time ago and immediately felt better about it.  I have little interest in the current product so have no need or desire to find out immediately what's going on in the world of wrestling from some scoopster like Satin or Sapp who sit on Twitter all day.  I also find Sapp a bit of a hypocritical joke if I'm honest.

Anything interesting/important usually turns up here.

Pre internet it was Power Slam and whichever WWF magazines cover looked least like a gay porn magazine that month.

I've noticed Sapp getting rather defensive of late, with him averaging throwing his teddies out every 3 days or so, mainly about stories being behind paywalls etc, which is fair enough, but the way he goes about it seems very thin skinned.

I read the results on Rajah then come here to read what everyone thought. Beyond “how shit the booking is this week” I don’t care for news any more. Especially not what passes for news, which is usually just interpreting subtext from people’s tweets. Couldn’t give a shit.

Usually here, or if something is trending on twitter. Sometimes if Ithe algorithm recommends it to me I'll see what WhatCulturaholic have to report on Youtube.

I don't follow any wrestling journalists because I don't want to be spoiled if I haven't watched certain shows etc.

If I do want to check news I'll probably go through a few guys like Ryan Satin, Sapp, Alex McCarthy etc for the headlines and anything worth digging into I'll go from there.

And yes I still read Rajah.

Either here or a lot of it these days is through Youtube clips from Bryan Alvarez, I'm not even subscribed to the channel but I've watched enough for them to pop up in my recommendations. I tend to enjoy Mike's takes the most, he's a funny guy without being an over the top gimmick, how long has he been with F4W?
