Keith Houchen
Not a celebrity but the brilliant Dawn Foster has passed away. She was a great writer and stuck to her principles to the end.

Keith Houchen
At least we know it probably wasn’t covid related seeing how he had his jab.

SuperBacon
Gutting. Biz was a true original in an often po faced genre, and more than just a one hit wonder (although that 'one hit' is a stone cold classic) This sums him up best. Nobody beats the Biz. Got to admit the only thing I really know him for is voicing Krusty the Clowns father on The Simpsons though I'm sure I've probably seen him elsewhere and not realised it

cobra_gordo
After Joey Jordinson's death yesterday I just found out that ZZ Top bass player Dusty Hill has passed away in his sleep. Don't think my heart can take much more this week. ZZ Top were one of the few bands I still needed to see live, looks like that's not happening. Gutted. One of my favourite bands and one of the coolest fuckers ever. Edited July 28, 2021 by cobra_gordo
Hugh Thesz
Dusty Hill is a shocker. Despite their ages I thought they would go on for years more. Agreed they had their own look which will always be cool as fuck.
Wideload90
Saddened by Dusty Hill's death. A solid bassist in one of the most entertaining bands around. Very lucky to see them back in 2019. Their cameo in King of the Hill is one of the best. "Stop spinning my son" Â RIP. Edited July 29, 2021 by Wideload90
Paid Members Jazzy G Posted July 30, 2021 Paid Members Share Posted July 30, 2021 I still can't listen to Sharp Dressed Man without having fits of laughter over the Fabulous Ones vignette from Memphis wrestling with Stan Lane & Steve Keirn. They put out some great music, though. Good old fashioned bluesy rock.
