Paid Members WeeAl Posted November 9, 2020 Paid Members Share Posted November 9, 2020 (edited) Sunday 7th March 2021 Starting the thread now as I usually wish there was a separate thread for the PPV's instead of using the Dynamite thread, however I don't normally see that weeks' Dynamite until Sunday afternoon after the PPV the night before. It's then that I'm reminded that was the go-home show. I'll update this whenever something gets booked. At least it might help a bit with the ever increasing size of the Dynamite megathread. Match Card: -AEW WORLD Title. Exploding Barbed Wire Death Match Kenny Omega (c) Vs Jon Moxley - AEW Tag Team Titles: The Inner Circle (Chris Jericho & MJF) Vs The Young Bucks (c) - Street Fight Sting & Darby Allin Vs Team Taz (Ricky Starks and Brian Cage) -Women's Title Hikaru Shida (c) Vs Ryo Mizunami -Winner gets the loser's 1st quarter earnings Hangman Adam Page Vs Matt Hardy -Face of the Revolution Ladder match. Winner gets a future TNT Title shot Cody Rhodes Vs Penta vs Scorpio Sky Vs Lance Archer Vs Max Caster Vs TBA -Miro & Kip Sabian Vs Orange Cassidy and Chuck Taylor -Casino Tag Battle Royale for a future tag title shot PAC/Fenix Vs Top Flight Vs Private Party Vs Butcher & Blade Vs Santana & Ortiz Vs Grayson/Uno Vs Silver & Reynolds Vs So Cal Uncensored Plus . . . Some big announcement. . . TNA style. . . .Maybe. Edited March 6, 2021 by WeeAl

Paid Members Supremo Posted February 8, 2021 Paid Members Share Posted February 8, 2021 (edited) Wasn’t this originally scheduled for a Sunday? Glad it’s been changed. Saturdays are way better. I know we’ve had more bad than good when it comes to cinematic matches but I’m still super excited about the Sting match. Smoke and mirrors, Darby jumping off something high, I think it could be great. Jericho and MJF going for the Tag Titles is the obvious direction, and I’d certainly prefer them challenging the Young Bucks than Gallows and Anderson, but still. It’s a shame that on the same show that Jericho and MJF became number one contenders we were given our first glimpse of what a fucking belter of a team PAC and Fenix are. Honestly, I can’t imagine how those two against the Young Bucks couldn’t be a match of the year candidate. I’m interested in what the main event is going to be. Mox vs. Omega rematch? Or do they finally do Blood and Guts now KENTA has been added to the Bullet Club? Edited February 8, 2021 by Supremo

Imagine the pop if they go with Moxley, The Young Bucks and a mystery partner, then after the build being all about whether Mox could trust the Bucks, a newly confident Hangman Page sauntering out as the fourth man and kicking the shit out of Omega. Maybe even doing the Sting vs. nWo thing of coming in, making his point, and leaving - he's there to give Omega his comeuppance, not to fight someone else's battle. I am slightly worried by the NJPW alliance in that it could potentially lead to interminable Bullet Club drama between past and present members, and all get a bit Wolfpac vs. Hollywood, though. Saturdays are way better. I went back and checked and I've come across different days, probably due to it having been changed from the original Saturday at the end of February. It appears, unfortunately, most places have it as the Sunday, 7th of March. I can't really place what I think the main event will be yet. For a while it looked to be nailed on to be Omega Vs Mox as a re-match. However that was always going to be difficult, as their top face can't really take a clean loss and AEW avoid too many cop out finishes. The KENTA debut could have been saved for the PPV, and that would have given Moxley an excuse for a title match loss. However now that they have already used that, I feel they might be pivoting away from the re-match.
The King Of Swing
Would they take a chance on main eventing a PPV with a multi match? Personally I'd be fine with that but a lot of people might not be. Mox, Pac and the Lucha Brothers Vs. Omega, KENTA and The Good Brothers could be a belter. Paid Members LaGoosh Posted February 8, 2021 Paid Members Share Posted February 8, 2021 My guess is they're going with Omega vs Archer for the title and Mox vs Kenta. Hold off on Mox vs Omega rematch for a big TV special or for the next PPV.
Guest
I’d hope they don’t do a gimmick big tag as already have one with the Sting stuff. Then have Bucks vs Jericho/mjf as well. Iron man with a screwy finish?
The King Of Swing
Guessing Blood and Guts/Wargames is still off the table. That would probably shift a few buys.
Paid Members Jazzy G Posted February 8, 2021 Paid Members Share Posted February 8, 2021 Will they have the finals of the ladies' eliminator tournement at Revolution? I'd guess we'd be getting either Moxley Vs KENTA or the Omega rematch, unless as posted earlier Omega is wrestling Archer. Maybe Eddie Kingston costs Archer? Pac & Fenix Vs Butcher & Blade? Cody Vs somebody? Page vs someone from the dark order? Possibly with a partner against Silver & Reynolds? Private Party Vs Gallows & Anderson in a return from the Impact PPV this weekend? Just throwing out some ideas.
Paid Members LaGoosh Posted February 8, 2021 Paid Members Share Posted February 8, 2021 OC & Taylor vs Miro & Kip seems to be a given...unfortunately. They haven't announced any timings for the womens tournament yet, doubt the finals will be at the PPV unless they just throw all the matches out quickly on YouTube. Reckon we'll get Adam Page vs Matt Hardy. I'm not sure if it's a good or a bad thing that the card is so unpredictable at the moment. I'm really looking forward to MJF/Jericho vs Bucks. It feels like a big match. I'm hoping for an Inner Circle win. MJF and Jericho as tag champs/best friends will further drive Sammy out the gang. They can then drop them to Pac/Fenix who defend them against the Bucks at the next PPV.
Chili
I think we'll be getting OC/Miro on the show, singles match. That's you end point for that feud and giving Miro something a bit more to get into when all the pieces move a bit again.

Where do you pivot Miro away to after this? Cody? Darby probably needs something new after this show, maybe good timing for the two of them to work together? As long as Kip Sabian and Chuck fucking Taylor aren't involved, then maybe Miro can be salvaged in his next program.
