That is a dirty fixture to pick. Its two of my favourite teams!

Ha, to be honest, I wish I could say I'd given it that much thought! It's a random consequence of a lot of chopping and changing the fixtures at short notice, nothing more.

Now you mention it, I do seem to recall that in their semi-professional days, Cheltenham Town were once named the South Midlands Non-League Team of the Year after finishing above your beloved Bulls for the first time in decades. Even though Whaddon Road is very much in the vastly superior region of the Westcountry...

For the record I'd have also bet on Cheltenham.

Edit: only just saw the Walsall game has been postponed to Tuesday because of a frozen pitch.

If it goes ahead on that night, then picks will still count! You should now make that bet in a separate post so that you don't void your earlier picks.

Stinky's guess for the Cartagena match doesn't count (but it was wrong anyway).

I mentioned I would've gone with Cheltenham if it was a Saturday game but I feel that's dirty to the D2D rules

Nothing in the rules against it, but you could argue it's against the spirit of the gimmick. The match went ahead tonight anyhow, as you know. I think this is the first time a league game has counted after being postponed at the weekend. In the days when there were crowds, the police and traffic authorities would often refuse to rearrange a league fixture at such short notice, but that's no longer a concern at the moment and besides, we really need to get these D2Ds done.

The nine results we actually had by Sunday night have been in the initial post for a couple of days now, but clearly the table could only be finalised about an hour ago. Six people claimed bonuses thanks to The (other) Robins' victory tonight. Top scorer Briefcase moves into second spot and is now just five points off the lead. Of those who posted on time, Tilde and Rory were the worst performers, so the gap between them remains at eleven. The two Dads are beginning to fall away a little bit as well.

Away from The Bescot (or whatever it's called now), a score draw at Cartagena and an away reverse for Málaga – who were in the Champions League knockouts this time just 8 years ago – caught most participants cold. Closer to home, wins for Man City, Arsenal and Wolves joined a stalemate at The AmEx in proving generally fruitful, whereas a draw at The Hawthorns and big victories on the road for Burnley and Fulham ended up tougher to foresee.

A new card will be up in the first post soon.
