Fog Dude
The final scores went into the first post on Sunday night as usual, and the table was recalculated just after that. Espanyol only drew at Mirandés (and needed a last-minute equaliser just to get that) which means I got the D2D guess wrong. Still, the one time I saw them play in person they lost, so at least they avoided that fate this time. Exactly half of the rest of you correctly bet against me yet somehow, I've increased my lead because nearest challenger Briefcase was the only participant to score even lower! MVP RULZ was the best performer, whilst Rory closed the gap at the foot of the standings to a dozen points. We've now got 10 weeks to go in the season, but just 2 D2Ds left to do. So why the rush? Well, three rounds will be dedicated to finishing the FPL Cup, the Easter double's coming up and then there's the bumper last weekend. That only leaves 5 more free rounds to slot a D2D into, and I wanted to leave a few spare in case there are any further snags. Anyway, onto the other matches: a score draw in the Netherlands and a narrow home win in the Seville derby proved fruitful, but a reverse for Real Mallorca in Asturias caught most people out. Closer to home, victories for Palace, Man City and Leicester were generally good for at least one-pointers, whereas poor home losses for Everton and Saints, alongside a controversy-packed North London derby, turned out to be tougher to foresee. A new card will be up in the initial post, soon-ish.

Under 14 hours to go until the first German match kicks off. Have most players given up??

Fog Dude
The results were put in the opening post on Sunday night, and the table was updated the following day. @RoryFice didn't join us this time for whatever reason, and the two people he would've been aiming to catch were the highest scorers and the only participants into double figures. That means he's now fully 24 points adrift in last place. Stinky Dad drops out of the top four, whilst fellow joint worst performer Briefcase slips to third spot behind Vegeta. Also included on the right-hand side for the first time since November are the FPL Cup standings, ahead of the completion of the group stages next weekend. In a decent week for scoring, wins for the favourites in blue in all three FA Cup ties proved fruitful, but the two German matches alongside a reverse for Aberdeen caught a lot of players out. Score draws at Parkhead and the London Olympic Stadium were also generally good for one-pointers, as were crucial victories for Brighton and Spurs. With no attempt at a D2D having been made, there's a bit less to say about this round than there has been for a while. Still, an international break is imminent to mix things up a bit. That particular set of 10 will go live in the original post shortly...
