Fog Dude
The final scores went into the opening post on Monday night (rather than Sunday, because Bank Holiday) and the new table was hastily figured out straight after that. Briefcase moves up a place as Vegeta and TildeGuy each move down one. The latter was joint worst performer with fellow struggler Shy Dad. @RoryFice didn't play, so we hope he's all right. There is still just about enough time for him to be kicked out for missing 3 rounds in a row, mind. For the second week running, ultimo was the only participant into double figures and the only one with more than one three-pointer. Will he be going into the FPL Cup final on form, or has he peaked too soon? Although it'll have to be played in short order – if at all – picks for the Man Utd v Liverpool game are void. Of the 9 matches that went ahead, wins for Harrogate Town, Rangers and Dortmund proved the most fruitful, even if exact scores were more elusive. Concord Rangers lost by a lower margin than expected, Celtic and Kiel more so (and in the latter case it really could've been 10, judging by the highlights on the German Football YouTube page). Potentially crucial victories for Brighton, Arsenal, West Ham, Torquay and Halifax ended up a tad more difficult to foresee, with the score draw in the Black Country derby producing something of a mixed bag of guesses. A new set of 10, featuring the last D2D of the season, will be up in the first post very shortly.

Fog Dude
The results were put in the original post on Sunday night, and the recalculated table soon followed. In a dramatic end to this season's D2Ds, an 89th-minute penalty denied Stinky Dad a win and cost him 14 bonus points, since only RoryFice failed to bet against him. That allowed in-form ultimo to overtake Stinky. Shy Dad, meanwhile, had a great round and so moves even further away from a returning Rory, who will now definitely go into the final weekend in last place. Top scorer Briefcase cuts the gap at the summit to 19 points, which could be surmountable in the bumper last round, but it's a long shot. In a high-scoring week, wins for Palace, Man U, Arsenal, Hibs and Ajax generally proved fruitful. Home reverses for Man City and West Ham caught a few people out, with guesses for the other Scottish Cup semi turning out to be more of a mixed bag. A Zlatan-inspired emphatic victory for Milan at Juve also ended up being difficult to foresee. The last ordinary card of the campaign will go live in the initial post soon, including a chance for ultimo and Vegeta to be dressed up to the nines when they make their picks, because it's FPL Cup Final time! Fog Dude
I'm risking the ire of Keith with a double post, but sheesh – interest in the season just seems to be petering out, doesn't it? I can only surmise that the probable winner of the competition this year would be a deeply unpopular champion...
