Paid Members BigJag Posted January 8, 2023 Paid Members Share Posted January 8, 2023 (edited) Nice solution to the horrible charging port that Sony use. Not all that difficult to install. Just requires a half hour with a good set of screwdrivers. Edited January 8, 2023 by BigJag Spelling.
Paid Members Arch Stanton Posted January 14, 2023 Paid Members Share Posted January 14, 2023 Every now and then I still like to play on the 3DS (well actually it's a 2DS that I've got), and it's a shame that I was completely oblivious to the fact that the deadline for adding funds for the eShop passed several months ago. I'm stuck with buying carts if I want any new games now. Anyone know of any good sites for picking up games (new or used) for the 3DS? Merzbow
It's one of the easier consoles to hack if you don't mind that..
Paid Members Arch Stanton Posted January 14, 2023 Paid Members Share Posted January 14, 2023 I wouldn't know where to begin with that sort of stuff!
TildeGuy~!
Not much of a Nintendo guy but I’m aware most games don’t drop in price, maybe eBay?
Paid Members Jazzy G Posted January 14, 2023 Paid Members Share Posted January 14, 2023 Some third party titles do drop in price, but the first and second party titles don't tend to.
Merzbow
https://3ds.hacks.guide/ This is kept up to date, I don't mind sharing it on here seeing as some games will be completely unavailable for sale and hacking is the only way to play. Merzbow
Most third party RPGs have kept their price, some costing far more than RRP due to being rare/wanted so much.
hallicks
Completed the main campaign of Overcooked with my wife this evening. Tremendous fun, I think people have recommended it on here before so thanks to those that did. We’ve got the deluxe version so I think there’s another campaign to do before we go on to number 2. Are there any other good equal responsibility co-op games on the Switch?

I only played a bit but it seemed decent, there may be a demo available on Switch.

You'll be far from surprised to hear that the single player mode isn't as good.

Are there any co-op platformers or RPGs worth a damn?

Unravel 2 is on there but not the prequel unfortunately. If you don’t mind a higher price point you also have Super Mario 3D World which is amazing. RPG wise it really depends what you’re looking for. If you want classic RPGs then you can get most the upgraded PS1-PS2 Final Fantasy ports on there. If you want something new with an old school feel then you can do worse than Dragon Quest XI S. If you want something completely new you can get Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and 3 which I hear good things about, or Persona 5 Royal which is ace from start to finish. If you’re looking for less Japanese RPGs and more action RPG then Skyrim and Breath of The Wild are always worth a go.
