If you really want to go down the tea rabbit hole then they have all sorts of different teas. They aren't cheap but they are top quality.

Had a fantastic flat white in the most beautiful venue today.

The Apostle House in Alresford, which used to be a chapel. 

Excellently the Wifi code was JESUSISKING.

Not the most exciting process but made a fresh batch of cold brew.

Around 75g of ground coffee goes in the filter (they say a more coarse grind is better but I didn't have beans) and then left in the fridge for 24 hours (you can go for less if you want)

Then sieve that out (in theory you shouldnt have to because your grounds are in a filter) using a coffee paper, into a jug, and then I whacked it back in the original holder after a rinse.

Then you have a brew good for 3 or 4 days if you keep refrigerated. 

As its a concentrate I'd suggest diluting it with water/cubes/milk but up to you.

Will try and have a play with iced lattes next week.

One part coffee, one part water as this was actually fairly weak. Usually I'd use 100g or just over of coffee and a 4 or 5 dark roast but this was a 3 medium and all I had in the cupboard.

I love coffee but can’t stand it cold! Not sure if I’ve never had a good cold brew, ice latte etc but it just doesn’t feel right with me, coffee should be hot! 
 

Maybe I’ll give making my own cold brew ago and seeing if I like that.

I'll be honest, even in the hottest weather I'd take a hot coffee over an iced one. But there comes a point in the day where I just don't want another hot drink and this is perfect for that as I try and cut down my fizzy drink intake

A cold brew is a bit of a smoother drink than an iced coffe or iced latte, which is just hot espresso over ice really.

Has anyone got a Velvetiser? I bought one back in July, which is traditionally hot chocolate season, obviously. But now I've started using it and it's a great bit of kit and is saving me a fortune from going in the coffee shop downstairs every morning.

That was until they opened an Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser cafe outside the Arndale Centre and I spent £100 in there on Monday. On top of the sachets I've been getting from M&S.

I think @deathrey has mentioned having one. I like hot chocolate, but I'm not sure I like it enough to get one.

I had a white hot chocolate last week at work. Now I like white chocolate but it was just like drinking milk and sugar. Not a good drink.

Yeah I'm not big on white hot chocolate either although I am looking forward to trying the Hotel Chocolat vanilla one.

It's also the time of year where I do my annual lament that Costa never brought back the Lindt hot chocolate.

I mostly use the Costa hot chocolate in my Velvetiser which definitely saves a lot of money. Great piece of kit.

The Hotel Chocolat white chocolate hot chocolate is quite vanillary and tastes a bit like drinking custard.....but in a good way.

I've had a Velvetiser for years, I make my coffee in it every morning, I think I actually use it more than my kettle now, my eldest has a hot chocolate every night as he's decided he doesn't like plain milk. I have a sibling that works for them so I'm kept in regular stock without bankrupting myself.

The new Velvetiser which makes hot and cold drinks looks great. I'm hoping to be gifted one for my birthday in May
