Being reminded of the UKFF in real life

For the first time in many many years, I chatted about wrestling in real life with a wrestling fan I didn't know at the weekend. This never happens so I found it quite fascinating. It was at Download and he was dressed in a pretty high quality Kane costume and I was highly intoxicated. That is the level of safe space I would require to talk to a stranger about wrestling in real life outside of a wrestling show.

I asked him what he watched. He said almost exclusively WWE but has seen the odd AEW show. He said he admittedly finds Jim Cornette entertaining when he's ranting about something you hate as much as he does, but also that he's wrong about quite a lot of stuff, particularly his dismissive attitude towards women's wrestling. Much like this place, it reminded me once again that the wrestling chatter out there on the rest of the internet is not real.

Did he ask you if you liked Rachel Stevens, or did you once again have to tell him, like a loser?

Moved house a few months back and the kitchen is laid out in such a way that the oven is face-height and in the corner of the room. So everytime I open the oven door there's no way to avoid getting my face blown off.

Naturally this means everytime I'm doing my tea of a night I think of poor @Devon Malcolm going through the same thing.

Getting an air fryer last Christmas has thankfully lessened my chances of needing a skin graft significantly.

Oh this just happened to me so I’ll post it while I remember.

There’s a system I log into at work once in a blue moon for the odd very specific thing. I am still using an auto generated password from when I first got the account. It’s “Summertime” followed by a bunch of numbers. Every time I go to use it my fingers type Summerslam. Then I do it again. Then I get it right just before it locks me out. Wrestling rots your brain, kids.
