Ex-Tottenham defender Troy Patrick Archibald-Henville remains a classic.

As a lover of aristocratic-sounding double-barrels, imagine my delight when I was going through a list of England top scorers with my best mate and we discovered William Slaney Kenyon-Slaney and .... Brigadier-General Sir William Bromley-Davenport

The NBA has Metta World Peace but alas it isn't his birth name.

The NBA also had in the 70s and 80s a player called World B. Free. His birth name was Lloyd Bernard Free, but he legally changed his first name to "World" during his career.

My wife used to go to a sewing class run by Cherry Windmill. I've also had an Xavier Snowman go to my uni, worked with Bruce Quibble.

Random fact: a guy that worked on Buffy The Vampire Slayer was Thomas Wanker.

Finally, I always loved David Haye calling his son Cassius.

Had a mad Italian client once called Umberto Salon.

One of my friends growing up had a name so Italian it sounds either made up, or like a member of a late 70's Italian-American tag team; Bruno Pompei.
