Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted April 2, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted April 2, 2018 What's this anti-Corbin Bernsen nonsense? Superb character actor and absolutely cracked me up in the Major League films.
Paid Members Thunderplex Posted April 2, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted April 2, 2018 FFS, I’ll have to agree with Devon and that Nousername pervert. Always entertaining even in some of his shittiest films.

Mostly known by you young’uns as a tramp in Heartbeat, but I remember him as Selwyn Froggart, a loveable dullard from a sitcom in the mid 70’s. Magic! My mum adored Heartbeat, my dad less so. The soundtrack to the Sunday evenings of my youth was “Oh, and now Selwyn fuckin’ Froggart’s turned up. Wonder what that cunt is up to this week...” from my father. Guy Bifkin
Sad news. I loved the faint whiff of homo eroticism in his commentary, which went a bit Brexity towards the end of his career.
Keith Houchen
A young Houchen correctly answered Wilkins at a pub quiz when asked who was the first England player to be sent off in a World Cup finals. For that he will have a place in my heart. I also like to think the Wayans brothers were big fans and he was on their mind during Scary Movie. Paid Members Gus Mears Posted April 5, 2018 Author Paid Members Share Posted April 5, 2018 Part two in a brutal month or so for the world of darts, Eric Bristow has headed for the oche in the sky.
Keith Houchen
My brother reminded me that once in a tournament, the DBK lost so chalked the next game. Brissy was on and I asked him "What's your initials, mate?" and without any airs or graces he just said "EB mate". He was a persona non grata lately with his comments on abuse but he was a gent on the circuit with time for everyone.
jimufctna24
Aye. My uncle once went to an exhibition with Bristow and some other players. He said that Brissy was the friendliest of the bunch. It's surreal watching the P.L at the moment on SKY. Understandably, no one wants to be there.
Awards Moderator Onyx2 Posted April 16, 2018 Awards Moderator Share Posted April 16, 2018 R. Lee Ermey has died. Check out @RLeeErmey’s Tweet: File that under "still alive, really?" Only capable of playing one character but golly gee he was fun to watch.
Keith Houchen
Nah. His FMJ character was worlds apart from Se7en, but authoritarian roles were certainly his (kit)bag. You wouldn’t fuck with him!
