Paid Members Scott Malbranque Posted October 1, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted October 1, 2017 Said the exact same thing as D-Mal a few hours ago talking to a few blues in the ground. Incredible how many holding mids and number 10s we have. Do great in a game of ISS Pro. Brewster is bang on there too . That's a decent, a very decent bunch of players Par Butcher has at his disposal but he doesn't know what to do with them. I'm sitting in the airport, tired, cranky and I've got a fissure that's alternating between itchy and stabbing pain every three minutes. It's me fuckin birthday and I said I'd check in here and air my grievance. Unsworth in.
RIDDUM_N_STYLE
The mentality is fucked, all because Cloghead insists on calling them out on it every game instead of addressing matters. We'd actually started the game brightly today but as soon as Burnley scored the heads dropped and we never recovered. Its not even that hard to change things, play Jon Joe Kenny at right back until Coleman is back, play Holgate at CB with Keane, drop one of Gueye or Schneiderlin as we don't need 2 DMs, play 2 wingers either side of the DM (ideally Vlasic and Lookman, replacing one with Bolasie when he's back) and alternate Rooney, Sigurdsson and Klaasen in the number 10 role behind Calvert-Lewin or Sandro till we can get another striker in January
Paid Members ColinBollocks Posted October 2, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted October 2, 2017 Can't wait for Fellaini to score the only goal v Man City; from a big hoof up the park.
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted October 2, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted October 2, 2017 Ever since he got booed last season, he's played well. He's scored a few and has kept things far simpler, not to mention the fact his discipline has been much better too. He's a good option to have in hand. Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted October 2, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted October 2, 2017 Ashley Young's a survivor. Back as a first team starter as a left back now, and is still the best crosser of the ball at the club. Incredible really. Fellaini and Young's attitudes off the field seem to endear them to every manager United gets. Good on them.
Ladiesman345
I see his diving has rubbed off on Rashford.

I understand why people dislike him but Young has been one of the best crossers of the ball in the Premier League for a long time. It was key to why Villa were good for a short amount of time. Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted October 2, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted October 2, 2017 One of the few good things van Gaal did at United was convert Young to left back. That was where his upturn in form started. He still needs to be properly tested there though before anyone thinks he's going to be the next Antonio Valencia. Mr_Danger
I think to be part of a front three in top side you need something a bit special. Space is at a premium and if you dont have the brain to use that pace in a compact area then you are useless. Taking a Milner (not pacey but hardworking and technically very good)or a Young and putting them further back gives them more space in front of them to use the ball more effectively. Old fashioned wingers are either full backs or forwards now.
Moderators PowerButchi Posted October 3, 2017 Author Moderators Share Posted October 3, 2017 Bale out of the vital upcoming qualifiers. One man, one legend, one hero of the masses will have to step up and do it for us all. Honestly, this couldn't have come at a worse time though, this. Paid Members PunkStep Posted October 3, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted October 3, 2017 Who cares about Bale, Chris Gunter is your best player now isn't he? Welsh player of the year!
Paid Members Gus Mears Posted October 3, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted October 3, 2017 I was really surprised that Joe Ledley wasn't snapped up by either a lower level Premier League club or Cardiff City. I always rated him as a no-frills solid midfielder, does everything vaguely competently without inspiring. Magnificent beard as well.
Moderators PowerButchi Posted October 3, 2017 Author Moderators Share Posted October 3, 2017 He's got off to a decent start at Derby, I could see him coming in for Andy King against Georgia.
Paid Members GlennCullen Posted October 3, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted October 3, 2017 In a rather random move, Harry Redknapp has joined Yeovil in an unpaid, part time, advisory role. The clubs in a bit of disarray at the moment, so might aswell add old dodgy Harry to the mix. Hope he can coerce Benoit Assou-Ekotto down here, if he's not still chasing the porn dream.
