Trump said the severity of COVID-19 does not affect young Americans.

“Now we know it affects the elderly. Elderly people with heart problems and other problems. If they have other issues, that’s what it really affects. That’s it, ”Trump said.

“In some states, no one is young. They have a strong immune system – who knows. Take off the hats off to the kids because they have a hell of a immune system. It hardly affects anyone, ”he said.

Who knew Melania was an elderly woman with a heart problem?

I thought it was also a good way to shoehorn a Dominic West reference in given how flag nonces have taken time away from hoping desperate people drown in the channel to chastise his lack of compassion for Trump.

It’s echoing Boris Johnson’s story arch pretty well. Difference is Boris didn’t downplay the virus, tell people masks aren’t important and call it the China Virus for 6 months before getting ill. The sympathy seems lacking in comparison

Think it’s lot worse then they are making it out to be he has world class medical team on standby yet he needs to be taken to hospital especially when it’s only a 15 minute drive but takes a helicopter ?

While it's unashamedly enjoyable to imagine him suffering a painful death at the hands of the very disease he inflicted on millions of others with his willful negligence, he deserves to survive this and experience the crushing humiliation of an electoral arse kicking and then prison for his crimes. Thoughts and prayers for a (non-too-speedy) recovery, motherfucker.

He did make a point of shaking the hands of every single person in a COVID ward though to prove that taking it on the chin was a viable option. Granted, he wasn't anywhere near Trump's level of cuntery, but he still dipped his toes into the cunt pool.

He'll be out and about within 2 weeks spouting his usual shite like; "You know, China had this disease, big disease, powerful disease, very powerful, very disease. It couldn't kill me, it won't kill America. Maybe you die because you're weak, very weak, very Chinesey...can you say Chinesey? Who cares this is America!" and then all of his supporters will think he's Johnny Big Bollocks and rally around to support him.

Hate to say it but his PR team must've be loving this, keeps them in control of the narrative and keeps him away from opening his mouth. I think this could boost his poll ratings if I'm honest.

Some nerds with Excel reckon there's a decent shot of knowing the outcome on Election Night if Biden's got a decent win.

Arizona, North Carolina and Florida all process postal votes in advance in most or all counties so that they can be tallied on Election Night alongside the in-person voting. Unless things are close enough that late-arriving postal votes might make a difference, those three states may well be "called" on the night.

The theory is if any one of of them is called on the night for Biden, it's highly probable he's won overall. If two are called for him (or one's called for him and none for Trump on the night), it's a 99%+ likelihood.
