Paid Members Kaz Hayashi Posted December 19, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted December 19, 2016 Flair, Sting and Luger for me, based on when I first became aware of the (early 90's) and I was bought some galoob figures. Â Bish is high up the list. Â Hogan will always be more WWE for me, along with Hall and Nash, only just though.
Love-Wilcox
Tony Schiavone for me, Clive. His fucking dreadful commentary elicit's fond memories of decades past. I only really got into WCW towards the death rattle though.  That's a really good shout actually, I'd consider him "the voice of WCW" or something to that degree. I thought Schiavone could be decent at times too.  Can't believe I didn't think of Bischoff either!
thevestofdeanambrose
Vampiro and Raven when I used to flick the cable box on a Friday night from raw to nitro...which funnily enough when I was out I was trying to flick the box of grungers and goths on Friday nights
Paid Members Linus Posted December 19, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted December 19, 2016 Flair, Sting, Luger & Ron Simmons. That dates me, right?
Dudley Eastbank
Flair, Sting, Luger & Ron Simmons. That dates me, right? It's weird. I suspect you must be about my generation (early 30s). There have been two distinct groups here; our group who remember ITV in the middle of the night in the early 90s and another whose main memory of WCW was Nitro on TNT. The difference in these products really is like night and day. I said earlier that I enjoyed Nitro at the time, and I really did, but I can't believe anyone who fell in love with early 90s WCW could possibly remember the later era with the same fondness. Also, it is incompatible with my brain that whole swathes of fans seem to hear WCW and the first person that pops to mind is Billy Kidman!? Moderators PowerButchi Posted December 19, 2016 Moderators Share Posted December 19, 2016 Flair, Sting, Luger & Ron Simmons. That dates me, right? Not really. It hasn't existed for 15 years. Anyone who remembers is dated.
Paid Members WeeAl Posted December 19, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted December 19, 2016 Flair, Sting, Goldberg and DDP for me. Â Whenever I think of the above 4 I always picture them in WCW. Although the NWO as a group stand out in my head when thinking of WCW, if someone said Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and Hulk Hogan to me, I'll still picture Diesel and Razor in their mid 90's WWF runs and Hulkamania running wild in the red and yellow. Â There are other guys who are total WCW men, that I don't associate with other places, but they wouldn't pop into my head straight off the bat. BrodyGraham
I have more love for Tom Zenk than I should because of the ITV 'Night Time' block in the early 90's. Pillman as well. For years, to me, the 4 Horsemen were Flair, Arn, Windham and Sid. Â Ultimately though Sting was WCW.

Paid Members chokeout Posted December 19, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted December 19, 2016 Sting, Vader and, randomly, Jesse Ventura. If you turned on WCW when it was on ITV you would see at least one of them within 10 minutes.
hitman619
as most people have already said Sting Luger & flair made WCW. However the likes of your mid carders like Alex Wright, z man, Brian Pilman really stole the shows.
Vamp
Sting is an interesting one because he represents WCW and TNA to me. Â And few things says WCW anymore than some random midcarder who suddenly appears and then vanishes again.
Paid Members air_raid Posted December 20, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted December 20, 2016 The Hollywood Blondes. My favourite tag team ever. Â Come on now Geoffrey, you can't have the Blondes. Because that's saying "Steve Austin" is WCW when CLEARLY he's WWF, even you think "Stone Cold" before "Stunning" surely??
