Frey Bentos pies are alright in a quick fix, but the main issue I have with them, and numerous other pies is ones where it's just a pastry lid. A pie should be fully enclosed in pastry, not just a lid. I hate it in pubs when you order a pie and you can tell they've just scooped some filling into a dish and popped some pastry on top.

Pasted from the Oxford English Dictionary:

"A baked dish of fruit, or meat and vegetables, typically with a top and base of pastry."

Exceptions of course include shepards pie, cottage pie, pizza pie etc. But in my opinion if it's pastry then it has to have a bottom or it can fuck off if it thinks it's a pie.

A cat typically has a tail. Are you gonna tell my manx she's not a cat?

Manx cats do have a tail, a little stubby one. And are gorgeous.

Fray Bentos should be called a tin pie or something.

Hah, I don't even have a cat! Game, dart aaaand the match.
