Paid Members Kaz Hayashi Posted August 31, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted August 31, 2016 It's a great watch Keith, I don't understand why it gets the rolled eyes it does.
The Gaffer
Had I not seen it on the internet, I'd probably have had no idea Michaels was taking the piss out of Hogan. A lot of it just looked like his usual flopping around, going all in on some 80s style die-at-the-hands-of-the-superhero match. Especially considering he was playing a heel with a small bit of a comedic edge.
NEWM
I love the match because of Michaels' hotdogging. It's a proper main event too when you watch it out of week-on-week stories now, feels like the 2005 equivalent of a Rock or Brock PPV main event, even though Hogan had actually been in and out of things a bit more at the time. Despite how great Shawn's part in the build up was, it's a better standalone match without too much story when watched now. Not unlike Rock/Hogan from WMX8 actually, which actually suffers if you stick on that bloody nWo truck segment beforehand.

The King of Old School
I wonder if they will ever put any 2012/13 episodes of NXT on the network? Â I'd quite like to see the tournament for the first ever NXT champion.

WyattSheepMask
That hart vs funk match will be the Dennis stamp reffed one from beyond the mat? Yeah that's the one. The Austin match was on The Dungeon Collection from a couple of years back and I think the Race/Backlund match was on the Best of MSG set, but the others are unreleased to the best of my knowledge
