Sting did say its a 'new' MEM. So maybe new rules may apply and it'll be all new members. The one thing I would say is Sting came out and complained about none of the roster helpling him during the Aces and Eights beatdown, but he may ask some of them to join his campaign.

If they cant get Scott Steiner, Booker T and Kevin Nash, I'd like to see them bring in Flatliner, Big T and Matt Morgan under the Oz gimmick. Morgan's already got the cape and big mental beard. Big T still owns the rights to the flames so he could do a double take in Booker's old outfit. And as far as Flatliner goes, TNA need an injection of youth. Flatliner is young, hungry and is still in his early 20s. And has been since 1996.

Morgan's monster beard was not present at TripleMania XXI the other night.

Konnan probably stole it and sold it to buy Night Nurse to keep those eyes open. Konnan looks like he's half asleep these days. He's all fat and old, which has mushed his face together. Edited by IANdrewDiceClay

Time sure flies. I still vividly remember reading the very first NWA:TNA press release and being intrigued by it. And here we are today, 11 years later.

Despite every year bringing the usual naysayers all telling us the company would be dead soon.
How long was WCW around for ( not including the NWA but just WCW as a company) it can't have been much longer than that

13 years. And ECW was around for 9 years, so TNA's already outlasted it. Not bad for a southern rasslin' show.Matt Morgan has to be one of the least over wrestlers ever. On his return to Impact, he got so little crowd reaction it was practically negative. When he signalled for his finisher you could actually hear everyone not give a shit. People were chanting for Magnus - he's properly over.

According to PWTorch:

TV data shows that in the month of April and May, Spike ran 151 15-second TNA promos. This equaled about 27,000 adult 18-49 impressions. Its translated to about two and a half ads per day on the channel.

Just two and a half 15-second commercials per day on average? Gees. You'd think they'd advertise their highest rated show more. Makes no sense.

Why? Doesn't seem they really need to. Its their highest rated show. And aren't the ratings over time pretty consistent?

Consistent, and good for the network and timeslot, but could definitely be better. They used to get more numbers for Smackdown.

It makes no difference to TNA anyway. They had billboards up outside of Titan Towers and have done cross promotion with UFC and all sorts of advertising. Blaming Spike for TNA's low ratings is unfair after all they have done for TNA. Spike pretty much owns TNA, because without it, there is no TNA. Their buyrates and house show attendance aren't profitable enough to allow TNA to survive if Spike dumped them.It makes no sense anyway. TNA's ratings are significantly down with the audience that knows about it. The lack of advertising might be valid if TNA was a new promotion just debuting. But TNA's viewership is lower than its ever been on Spike. So its the audience they had not watching anymore. Not the audience that isn't aware they are around.Spike gives TNA a budget per year to invest in Impact. It costs $500,000 for TNA to record TV tapings on the road. Maybe the advertising has taken a hit, because they need every penny to keep on going on the road.
