Buy some good quality, genuine balsamic vinegar. The expensive stuff tastes excellent, and you don't need much of it, so lasts ages.

As always Plexy speaks the truth. Expect to spend about £10 on a good bottle, but get ready to dance the acetic boogaloo.

Or try salad dressings made with one or more of these:

Mirin

Rice vinegar

Avocado mashed with lemon juice

Fat free crème fraîche

Cottage cheese

Tomatoes whizzed up with a leafy herb such as coriander

Cucumber raita (like you get with an Indian takeaway)

Whizzed up greens like spinach or kale

Yoghurt and mint

And I'm spent.

Thanks very, very much lads (and lady?). Very much appreciated, is that dig out.

I already mulch spinach, broccoli, supergreens and cale twice a day and take cottage cheese before bed, but deffo gonna try the Balsamic Vinegar and Avacado suggestions...with lemon.

I can't eat cucumber. The thought of it makes me wretch.

Fuckin sweet potatoes. Fed up with them. BUT, hard boiling them, and then slicing them into chips and popping them in the oven with some coconut oil, chili flakes and cider vinegar spices them up a bit, I found yesterday evening.

I wouldn't bother with the boiling stage Branqs - sweet potato can roast just fine straight in the oven in about 30 mins. I like 'em with cumin, lime juice and chilli / cayenne meself.

Like what I'd imagine an icepop made out of snot and piss to taste like, Chest. Fuckin septic.

I was taking Lean Xtreme as I'm stim sensitive, and you know what works better? A cup of green tea, turmeric, ginger, aloe vera, cayenne pepper and manuka honey.

I can't praise Cayenne highly enough. A wonderfully beneficial spice.

Has anyone used MuscleFoods.com at all? Looking at possibly moving onto them to buy in bulk (student/poor/need protein) and the pricing looks too good to be true in terms of quality.

The Mirror has an article on it today but that's not really adding to the plus or negative side of it.

Any good/bad experiences?

On Friday I have a few spare hours before I have to head back home to Devon, so I am going to have a wander around Camden. Any recommendations for somewhere to get lunch around there. I know there area bunch of stalls in the market that do good food, but is there anything that I should go out of my way to check out.

There's Haché Burger on Inverness Street, if you want fancy-schmancy burgers - their "Canadian" is interesting: bacon, cheese, and peanut butter. There's also Viva Brasil on the same street for Brazilian food, and Bayou, again on Inverness Street, for Cajun and southern BBQ stuff. In the Stables Market there's Gilgamesh if you want to try Persian, although it's a bit on the expensive side.

I haven't eaten out in Camden for a while, so those are the only ones that I can name at the mo.

Hook is decent for swanky fish and chips. Swanky in that they do 'modern' stuff with it rather than it's expensive and has a dress code etc. https://www.hookrestaurants.com/

Chin Chin Ice Cream in the market is shit hot. Well worth going out of your way for. https://chinchinicecream.com/

If you can make it as far as Kentish Town then Camden Brewery (yeah, I know, confusing) open their doors on a Friday and they make an absolutely stellar lager. (You'll have seen it in supermarkets, I'm sure, but don't let that make you think it sucks). They have a street food vendor outside that's almost always great. http://www.camdentownbrewery.com/about/brewery-bar/. (I'd check times for lunch).

On Kentish Town High Street there's a Camden Brewery pub called Camden's Daughter that had Burger and Beyond as a food residency last time I checked. (Website says they're still there but I'd check). Their burgers are really good. http://www.camdensdaughter.com/menu/

There's also Beef and Brew a few doors down from Camden's Daughter that's very good. https://www.beef-and-brew.co.uk/

Back in Camden, Porky's is half decent if you fancy BBQ. http://porkys.co.uk/. Band of Burgers is supposed to be good but I've never been personally. http://bandofburgers.co.uk/venue/

I like Voodoo Ray's pizza

Unfortunately Kerb market group are exiting Camden Market so I'm not sure if that's going to gut it.

Had no idea they had a place in Camden. +1 for their pizza being good.

I thought it was their original location? The boxpark Shoreditch one isn't far from my office now.
