wrestlingmad
WHY HULK HOGAN IS SUING FOR $50 MILLION IN BACK SURGERY SUIT By Mike Johnson on 2013-01-15 08:53:47 TMZ.com featured more details on Hulk Hogan's lawsuit against the Laser Spine Institute of Florida, noting that when he was advised to do surgeries that he didn't need, it forced him to lose out on a WWE contract worth $50 million. TMZ's report noted that the surgeries forced Hogan to miss out on a huge payday against John Cena in what would have been Hogan's retirement match. That match was originally booked for Wrestlemania 25, until Hogan's back issues led to WWE going in another direction. At the time, PWInsider.com had reported there was talk of Cena vs. Hogan for that event. Hogan is claiming damages for all the money he would have received under what was referred to as a "phase out" contract with WWE, where he would have retired and maintained a presence with the company. I wish this match happened.

Daaaaaad!
Would've been a damn sight better than what actually happened. Wasn't that the one with Cena/Edge/Big Show?

TheShowOff
Triple H, HBK, X-Pac, Billy Gunn and Kevin Nash humiliate Damien Sandow at the NXT taping http://www.wwe.com/videos/dx-and-kevin-nas...ersity-26083612 Sandow has grown on me tremendously, and it can't all be because of his wonderful hair. Paid Members air_raid Posted January 16, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted January 16, 2013 I wish this match happened. Hmmm. TMZ's report noted that the surgeries forced Hogan to miss out on a huge payday against John Cena in what would have been Hogan's retirement match. I'm very, very pleased he didn't wrestle that match. Had he retired in WWE and stayed retired, I'd have not gotten to see him wrestle live for TNA last January. I'm selfish like that. But yeah, Hogan/Cena would have provided a really interesting match in comparison to the stale retreads with Show and Edge. As I write that, I can't believe Cena and Show were programmed together again as recently as last summer.

King Pitcos
Is there a legitimate source for that? Only it seems like the most blatant ever case of a shit website running banal speculation as news. I'm glad you spoilered it though, otherwise people would've been stunned to find out the world title match may or may not go twenty minutes and Rock vs Punk may or may not go half an hour.
