Awards Moderator HarmonicGenerator Posted December 14, 2015 Awards Moderator Share Posted December 14, 2015 Will Smith's not in it? I don't think I'll even watch the trailer now!
Merzbow
Â Never been a fan of Tom Hiddleston but can't wait for this, I love a bit of J.G Ballard.
Undefeated Steak
I've been meaning to read the book for years but the trailer for The Big Short looks pretty good. Â
Paid Members Bellenda Carlisle Posted December 16, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted December 16, 2015 Â First official photo from the new Ghostbusters film. I like the way one girl has hair and glasses like Egon from the cartoon, I hope she's the smart one.
Paid Members bAzTNM#1 Posted December 17, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted December 17, 2015 Looks a really bad idea to me, but it'll probably still make a bazillion bucks.
Paid Members Bellenda Carlisle Posted January 9, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted January 9, 2016 Here's the first trailer for that Michael Shannon/Kevin Spacey Elvis/Nixon film I was chatting about a few months ago. I buy Spacey as Nixon straight away, I'm sure 90% of it is Hollywood fantasy to make a fun movie but I still really want to see what Michael Shannon does as Elvis. Â Â I think I saw Johnny Knoxville in there.
DraxSpago
Think someone might have tampered with the wikipedia page for the Cloverfield sequel  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/10_Cloverfield_Lane
Awards Moderator HarmonicGenerator Posted January 15, 2016 Awards Moderator Share Posted January 15, 2016 I think I'm more surprised that there's a Cloverfield sequel! It's been about... 8 years I think? Â I loved Cloverfield the first time I saw it, knowing absolutely nothing about it and having bought fully into the viral marketing, but it didn't hold up so well on a rewatch. Paid Members Scott Malbranque Posted January 15, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted January 15, 2016 I think this is legit. I actually heard the rumour that Goodman and Winstead were participating in a Cloverfield sequel a few months ago, but Bad Robot quashed that and said it was a social drama that has nothing to do with Cloverfield, so nobody gave it another thought.  But here we are now with a Bad Robot flick that has Cloverfield in the title. Cloverfield fans are picking the trailer apart for clues and over on that IMDb site, and there’s a few very good ones actually...  https://youtu.be/IWeNGx2Je7Q
Awards Moderator HarmonicGenerator Posted January 15, 2016 Awards Moderator Share Posted January 15, 2016 I like the look of that trailer! I'm in.
Paid Members Scott Malbranque Posted January 15, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted January 15, 2016 Abrams is kind of a whipping boy for hipsters but I think he and his staff are fucking tremendous and peerless when it comes to stuff like this... Awards Moderator Onyx2 Posted January 15, 2016 Awards Moderator Share Posted January 15, 2016 That looks treeee-mendous. Genius to use the lesser-known '69 "I Think We're Alone Now", and then slowing it down... whatever you think of his films, JJ Abrams generates the best trailers anywhere. Guest
Went to see Creed earlier. Christ, Stallone has this down to a T performance wise. Really enjoyed it.
Paid Members Nick James Posted January 18, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted January 18, 2016 Just been to see 'Room'. What a brilliant film, really enjoyed it. I went as a compromise for dragging the other half to see The Force Awakens and I think I enjoyed it more than she did. Great performance from the little boy.
