Afternoon chaps and chapettes. I'm looking to get some wireless headphones, but I'm fucked if I'm paying more than £100 for a pair. Made that mistake last time with Beats and everyone said they were shit and you could get better for half of the price.

Anyway- ideally a pair with a detachable lead just in case I run out of battery during a commute etc. Decent pair, yet affordable. Any suggestions would be most appreciate.

So, I got a letter to my mum's address the other day from HM Courts & Tribunal Service Historic Debt Enforcement Team. According to this letter, a judgement went against me in 2011 at Stratford Magistrates Court and I owe them £800. I have no recollection of what this case was. 2011 was probably one of my worst years, so I'm sure I did something but I'm also sure it wasn't a case of being arrested for something and bailed to appear at court. The only thing I can think of is something like littering or travelling without a valid ticket. How the hell could it be £800 if it's one of those things?

I don't have £800 spare to pay these fools and I'm not sure what to do about it. I don't want to contact them since they've been unable to trace me up to now and I'm worried that contacting them will result in something worse. I've looked into it and apparently this is some new initiative to recover historic debt that started last year. There's an entire Reddit thread of people who have received letters like this for fines they have no memory of.

Not sure what advice you lot can give me other than probably call them. Ugh.

I've been thinking about it and I think I know what it is. I was at the casino at Stratford Westfield years back and threw a cigarette butt in the gutter and one of those enforcement guys witnessed me do it and took some details. I reckon that's it. Still, though. £800 for that.

Whatever the original fine was, plus fees every time they have tried to enforce it and it'll soon shoot up.

Your best bet is to find out what it's for by contacting  them I guess.with court dates these things just get worse. If you can't pay it you should find out what the fees are for and ask for proof they did those things. Following tgat see if they'll accept to call it quits over the original fine  and failing that you could probably get a payment plan in place for piss all if you make it look like your hard up

Maths has never been my strong point but doing a quiz and was given the question: (-2) x (-4) +1.

I thought the answer was -7 but apparently it is -9. Am I wrong?

Multiplying any two positive or negative numbers togetheer gives a positive answer.

Multiplying a positive with a negative gives a negative answer.

A friend of mine ordered some zapain online, he tried to order some more from the same place but it got refused.  This site seemed about half the price of other places he has looked online.  Is it common for online pharmacies to knock back an order? He has just ordered again in the hope that they'll put this one through.

Where is the best place for ordering painkillers that don't involve Bitcoin and the deep web and all that? Asking for a friend.

Some online pharmacies have been done for over-prescribing medication, or not bothering to check prescriptions before issuing the order - the Government have been looking into it, apparently. Probably tightened up their procedures and are being overly cautious, or they've lost their pharmaceutical licence and can no longer fulfil the order. More info here:
