The latter was a tip from my dad so he’s owed a drink. Fugitif was my other winner. On to tomorrow. The fuck does that mean? You've done cover bets there, not e/w. Cover bets are where you get slightly shorter win odds and if the horse places you get your stake back. With those odds it doesn't look like e/w would've been worth doing as you wouldn't have got your stake back if it placed. No idea why it was void, haven't seen any racing today. On shorter odds horses rather than e/w I tend to put -for instance - £1 to win and £2 to place, enough to ensure the return from the place bet would cover the win stake.
