The forum existed before anyone was brave enough to buy an entire domain for it - but @Junkman bought "wrestlingukfanforum.com" at some point. At some point I snapped up the ukff and we've been pursued by suitors of memorable 4-letter domains ever since.

Prior to this we definitely had a shared URL on a geocities type shared platform that was exclusively for forums. It was rubbish but was the nucleus of everything we have today. That would have surely been around 1998-2000 era I think. I cannot for the life of me remember the name of that service. The number 9803 sticks in my head, which may have been the ID assigned to our forum on the platform, or I could be hallucinating.

The first time I came across a version of the UKFF in the late 90s it was a blue (I think) bulletin board style set up. I remember when there were so many different message boards, I think it’s just UKFF and DVDVR which are still around. What can I say, this place is incredible.

Knowing it's close to me being here 18 years and being 33 now, it's over half my life on this forum. 

Pretty much was on this forum as soon as I had Internet at home (we were late to the game) but finally signed up just shy of my 16th Birthday. Looking back I reckon these days if I told a parent or teacher I was a 15 year old chatting to a bunch of adults in a wrestling chat room I'd have been a safeguarding issue. 

But while I've not met too many of you in real life, I know the ones I regularly interact with on here I have a lot of time for in real life or on here.

I take it you missed the UKFF Anniversary Special on BBC Choice, then? There was a tribute video at the end for all the sex offenders we've had on the forum. Like the Oscars memorial tribute.

My favourite part was when Barbra Streisand surprised everyone to serenade @Frankie Crisp about the time he shit in a Quality Street tin. That's where your donations go to, UKFFers.

Honestly, when you first brought it up I thought it was a reference to Gatso (think that was their name). Don't really want to go into what he admitted but I recall it being fucking awful.

Anyway, sorry to bring it down a tad there, I sometimes love a peak on UKFF Gold and that Anarchy Pro Wrestling thread with Kris Sprules always amused me, and that guy asking for a specific wrestling show about a type of ring because his missus 'got invited in the ring to try the moves'... And finally, that bad boys wrestling thread. God I wish the pics all still worked in that, I remember dying laughing during the time it was posted.

It's amazing how it's sustained in the social media age; a pal of mine is quite perplexed when I reference things from here, sees it as an anarchronism. But in reality, the UKFF will probably outlive Twitter and all those lads.

Was this when some randomer who starting asking questions saying he had seen Wallace in the airport or some bullshit, think he said he was on his way back from a football match and "overheard" some wrestler giving it the big one. Then preceded to ask so many questions about Wallace that it quite obviously was the thick nonce!!

Wowzer, 19 years coming up to 20 years on here. I’m fairly sure I wandered here from the GameFaqs wrestling forum. Cesspool that was. Read this place daily. It’s superb.
