Think there was already a precedent established that WWE couldn't always hold on to it if a wrestler could prove that they were using the name in a non-WWE-owned promotion before going to WWE. CM Punk and Samoa Joe being the most notable examples - though in the case of the former, he lucked out that he debuted in WWE developmental and WWECW when Heyman was running things there, or else he might have been given a name like Dirk Bomboclaat or something. Paid Members BomberPat Posted January 14 Paid Members Posted January 14 It's complicated, but AAA own the trademarks for Fenix and Pentagon Jr in Mexico, and the parent company of Lucha Underground own them in the US, hence Rey Fenix and Penta El 0 Miedo. I think AEW tried to get away with using the Pentagon Jr name for a while via their working relationship with AAA, but either they or Penta settled on the name that he could use and merchandise without AAA involvement. If a ref is clearly out, how comes it takes a ridiculous length of time before a replacement appears? Surely you'd have a 'spare' just outside Gorilla or somewhere to get straight out when the ref is clearly incapacitated? Doing moves on the announce desk. If its during a match then they both stay down. If its a post-match beat down why get straight up if you're the one doing the move a la Swerve? Quote

I mean if you really think about, surely by now wrestling should have adopted a permanent team approach to refereeing (one in the ring, one watching from outside on each of the 4 sides, plus some sort of VAR). What with all the cheating that goes on behind the ref's back, leading to people winning by unfair means.
