Paid Members I Bent My Wookie Posted April 3, 2025 Paid Members Posted April 3, 2025 I'm quite concerned for Bandido. Has Jericho got a tour lined up? Does MJF cost the Hurt Business the tag titles and the Learning Tree then turn on their no title leader if he loses? Or is Bandido secretly a snack under the mask and Tony has found he's much more marketable with his face on show? All this and more. On Dynasty. Quote
Chili Posted April 3, 2025 Posted April 3, 2025 It kind of crept up on me this PPV, from the look of the card I think this might be a sleeper of a PPV where it's a B show that absolutely exceeds expectations (I'm looking at you Mox) Quote
Paid Members Statto Posted April 4, 2025 Paid Members Posted April 4, 2025 Think I'll keep my money in my pocket this month. I've no doubt there'll be some cracking matches, but there's nothing I really care about like there was at Revolution. Quote
burchybabi Posted April 4, 2025 Posted April 4, 2025 Mark Briscoe vs Kyle Fletcher Owen Hart tournament first round match now also added Quote
Paid Members LaGoosh Posted April 4, 2025 Paid Members Posted April 4, 2025 Isn't there like 7 weeks between now and Double or Nothing? Not sure why they're doing the first round matches so early as surely you want the finals to the tournament on that show? Also first round matches being on PPV just bothers me a bit - that's what TV is for! A very B show level PPV card. They've done alright considering Revolution was only 4 weeks ago. I'm most invested in the main event just because I am desperate for a Swerve win - I don't think I care about the actual match itself too much. The International Championship should be a fun spotfest we'll all forget about as soon as it's over. Toni Storm vs Megan Bayne will probably be match of the night - really hoping Storm doesn't lose! She's great! Rest of the show would make a decent episode of Collision I suppose. Quote
RedTwoster Posted April 4, 2025 Posted April 4, 2025 (edited) The build-up has been good for most of this, so I’ll be tuning in. Given that Wrestlemania is this month, I’d imagine everyone will be super-motivated to make sure they put on a better show, and I think they’ll probably will. The triple threat in particular should be a spectacle, I can’t wait for that. I’ll be skipping the Jericho and TNT title matches though. Possibly an unpopular opinion, but I actually find Daniel Garcia incredibly dull. He’s a great wrestler, but as a character he offers very little. I’m not particularly excited by the idea of his title run continuing, or of Adam Cole defeating him. Edited April 4, 2025 by RedTwoster Quote

There was something there when he almost-but-didn't turn on Jericho, and something there again when he first started doing the dance, but the last year or so I've found him quite boring. And Cole is Cole. Quote
Chili Posted April 4, 2025 Posted April 4, 2025 TBH I watch all the matches on PPVs because the stuff I not that into still might surprise me and I kinda like to watch it in full to get the complete flow of the PPV. I treat them differently to TV episodes. That's just my way of processing it. I quite enjoy Daniel Garcia generally, but I think he was a victim of some stop/start ideas, especially that Jericho turn that never was. His Continental Classic run in the first tournament was a great story. Still love me some Daddy Zandig too. Quote

Feels like a massive waste of Bandido, who could be a decent secondary title holder or continue his tag team with Hobbs. Edited April 4, 2025 by Duke Quote

According to Rocky Romero, I think, when he was doing colour Comms for New Japan, Bandido is a ridiculously handsome man. They used to go on about how it was a crime that he wrestled in a mask. I'll be buying this. There's really only the tag title match that I can't see delivering on the night. Quote

I have two leftfield booking ideas. Craziest first. Kevin Knight beats Ospreay. Ospreay doesn’t need a title shot at All In (Come on announce Forbidden Door already), and I love an upset in a tournament. Second, I predict Shelton Benjamin will have missed his connecting flight and MJF, always the professional packing his gear when not booked, helps Lashley beat the Learning Tree with a disgruntled Shelton appearing post match to see MJF celebrating in the ring with MVP and Big Bob, convincing Lashley to welcome MJF to the syndicate. abucalves Posted April 4, 2025 Posted April 4, 2025 So it's being reported that Darby Allin is starting his climb on the 15th and it can take 2 months (and longer for inexperienced people) seemingly taking him out of the Owen completely. It has to be Hangman lads. Quote
Paid Members Kamran Posted April 4, 2025 Author Paid Members Posted April 4, 2025 They've released some posters, which I've added to the first post. Once again, I love the Toni Storm one, you can tell whoever is doing them is having a lot of fun. Quote
Gooner Posted April 4, 2025 Posted April 4, 2025 Very average card on paper, hopefully anyone who is paying and staying up late to watch, enjoy themselves. To win: Jon Moxley Toni Storm Kenny Omega Death Riders Adam Cole The Hurt Business Will Ospreay Mercedes Mone Bandido Quote
