Paid Members Kamran Posted March 31, 2025 Paid Members Posted March 31, 2025 I've seen quite a few posts about this appear on my Facebook feed, but I couldn't find any video on YouTube; apparently, he was bored: Quote
Paid Members Lion_of_the_Midlands Posted March 31, 2025 Paid Members Posted March 31, 2025 He wasn't bored, he was definitely a little bemused but actually he was very funny and charming, as you imagine he would be. Several of the crew had been to Smacky-D on Friday by the sounds of what was said. Let's put it this way if Brigitte Christie is telling a story about her cat swallowing dental floss and having to deal with the after effects and you make a joke that makes everyone laugh that doesn't sound like boredom to me. Cousin Jim Bob Posted March 31, 2025 Posted March 31, 2025 (edited) I didn't see it but you would think literally anyone else on the Raw would have been a better choice if Triple H couldn't be arsed. Really should have sent someone like Sheamus who would have had a laugh. Edit - Maybe he was good after all. Just a bit confused about what the show was. Edited March 31, 2025 by Cousin Jim Bob Quote
Merzbow Posted March 31, 2025 Posted March 31, 2025 (edited) Why wouldn't you stick Cody on a show like this? But yeah he seems fine from the small bit I've seen so far. More jarring is Tim Lovejoy who was unrecognisable from what I remember him looking and sounding like, it probably been a decade though. Edited March 31, 2025 by Merzbow Quote
Chili Posted March 31, 2025 Posted March 31, 2025 Did he bang on about Wrestlemania in London as per? Quote
Snitsky's back acne Posted March 31, 2025 Posted March 31, 2025 I miss 90s TV shows like Big Breakfast and Live and Kicking. Seeing Paul Bearer lob oversized nuts into a pool in the garden of a manor house and Scott Hall dancing with Mr Blobby after telling the female presenter he would 'lick her in the ring' is infinitely better than HHH sat listening to Bridget Christie make crap jokes. Lily Savage claiming Macho Man was a relative of hers was also great TV. Quote

They asked him about Mania in London and he said that there is a bidding process and that they've had talks with the mayor. If that's banging on then yes he did Quote

Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted March 31, 2025 Paid Members Posted March 31, 2025 The way I found out about this was from my mum. "Do you watch Sunday Brunch?" (this is her new "Do you watch Clarkson's Farm?") "No." "That Triple H was on it yesterday morning." "Oh right, they're on a European tour right now." "Yeah. But he doesn't wrestle anymore, he said, he's just in charge." "He had a heart attack as well." "Oh that'll do it." Quote
Paid Members Arch Stanton Posted March 31, 2025 Paid Members Posted March 31, 2025 I only caught a bit of it, but Triple H appeared no more bored or bewildered than any other American guests that they've ever had on over the years, that have had to suffer through Tim Lovejoy's 'banter' and awful dress sense. HHH is actually pretty good in these situations, as he's quick witted and far less of a bonehead than the average wrestler. Quote

'Does The Undertaker still wrestle?'. 'No Mum' 'Oh, who's in it now?' 'Nobody you'd know'. 'Oh ..' Quote
