Will's promo was something... I didn't hate it but a very weird tone right after having such a blood feud.

Yeah I wasn't sure what he was going for. Some of it felt a bit "peak behind the curtain", promising the wife they weren't "planning" anything daft in the cage match, then getting grief for jumping off the top etc...might be over thinking though.

Can't say I'm bothered about Speedball. What've they got that the roster is currently missing? There face is very punchable so might make a decent heel one day. And the no shoes thing distracts me, I can't lie. Every time they did anything all I could think about was how much more it must have hurt them doing it without shoes on. Or why doesn't there opponent just immediately stamp on there toes?

Yeah, I don’t really see what they add, but time will tell. The women’s division is so hot right now that I’d much rather see that get more airtime than for AEW to pad its roster elsewhere with new signings.

Plus, watching Mox vs. Cope back, it wasn’t that bad. They were just massively handicapped by a crap finish, an unsatisfying use of Christian’s cash-in, and having to follow arguably the greatest three-match run in the history of pro-wrestling pay per view. Good on them for wanting another go. I hope they smash it out of the park and shut everyone up.

It’s not so much about the quality of the match for me - I’m sure they have it in them so have an excellent rematch. It’s more about the characters, I just don’t care about either of them. It’s a shame really - on the whole, I think Moxley has been great in AEW, and Edge as the Rated R Superstar is one of my favourite heels ever. But what both are doing right now…it’s just not for me, especially when there are so many other wrestlers doing genuinely interesting things on that roster - I’m all on board the Ricochet-for-World-Champ train!

I saw a vignette for Lio Rush and Action Whatshisface and their stupid spiky coats on Instagram earlier, did that air on TV?

”You’re either Cru, or you’re enemy”

For fucks sake lads, “You’re either Cru, or you’re through” was right there for the taking. Either way, a couple of weeks and they’ll be gone again

They should do a Beast Mortos and Harley Cameron romance angle.

Good grief yes. Much like how they should have done something with Abadon & Danhausen. As I was the leading champion of the brilliant Ruby Soho/Cool Hand angle, I'd absolutely love this. Even better is that Harley Cameron is eccentric enough of a character to play it hilariously straight that it's Mortos. Couldn't care if it's too sports entertainmenty in the slightest, I'll take this over people going on about being gritty.

Also delighted for Max Caster. He's outstanding as a delusional troll heel. Like a shitposter come to life and transplanted into a wrestling show. People wanted this guy shitcanned. I love that both faces and heels CBA with him being a gobshite, but he's too stupidly proud to do a runner and gets his head kicked in.

All I can think about is the mad skits they could do: Harley and Mortos on a date in a restaurant, Harley trying to teach Mortos how to sing, Mortos writes her a poem but it's all grunts and growls, Harley makes a Mortos puppet, they go dancing together etc. With someone as hilarious and creative as Harley you know it'd be the best story of the year.

Things I really liked in this episode:

- Harleygram and Mortos interacting. So much potential. Must have more.

- The Hollywood Ending video package. Made an outstanding feud look even more magnificent.

- Lexy, MVP and Hangman combining forces to actually make MJF interesting again.

- The Patriarchy segment, which made me do a proper “ooooohh” when Nick Wayne spoke out of turn.

- A whole bunch of people who would all really like Moxley to not be World Champion anymore. I’m fine for Cope to win it, then Swerve to win it off him, then Ospreay to win it off him. Then we’ll be three whole champions removed from the Death Riders. Just think of it!

So Jericho and Gravity didn’t even have a match on the pre show then

Bang average Dynamite. Most things have been said already (Harleygram for the win).

But. Maybe it's just me, but Hologram is the most uninteresting luchadore they have. Bar Gravity, obviously. The dude can clearly go, but I just don't give a shit. He hasn't given me a reason to care beyond he can do the lucha style.

It’s definitely not just you, I find him really dull. He can wrestle, but he’d stand out more in AEW if he couldn’t, because wrestling ability is pretty much a given in that company. He’s not been given any kind of personality, and it’s hard to care about him in any way as a result.

It's a bit annoying Hologram is pushed so hard because Kommander is better than him and doesn't get pushed at all. Though overall as a lower/midcard act for the kids I'm ok with Hologram generally.

Bit confusing how much Dralistico looked like Mistico this week. Should a heel be wearing all white? Funny to watch him fuck up repeatedly at the end and him and Hobbs get more and more pissed off with eachother though.

I quite like Hologram. Just goes out there and fun matches, though he's definitely a little sloppy at times.

He also feels more like a Collision guy, to me if that makes sense.

Speedball was fine but dumping him in a TK Special Filler Tournament, was a bit of a shit debut, imo.

Fans seem to like him though.

I think Osprey was trying a little too hard at being 'a cheeky lad' or something. Meh I've seen/heard worse.

The Patriarchy segment was interesting. Imo, the first step in the eventual E&C reunion. Was nice to see some actual personality from Wayne.

Fun main event.

The Toni and Mariah retrospective video package was absolutely incredible and the best thing on the show by miles. It was as good as the Sting farewell video at Revolution last year which I though was the best video package they'd ever done.

It's up there with Swerve/Hangman and Hangman/Omega as the best feud AEW have ever done too and I think it's far and away the best womens feud I can ever remember in any company.

I honestly don't think anything else even comes close.

It definitely makes sense when you consider this was only his 2nd match on Dynamite. Just as he was being integrated more instead of showcase matches is when he ended up injured last year.

He sounds just like Simon Moon from Frasier. Every time he opens his it’s mouth it’s all I can hear
