Yeah the smaller crowds have all been hot as hell for every act which has made the shows way better.

"You are not alone" should be The Outrunners theme going forward. Excellent work.

I hate to correct a fellow Khan Ultra but its the smaller buildings that are having the effect. The crowds are the same size but they are not losing the crowd noise in the bigger arena. It has made a noticeable difference though. It makes the shows feel so much better.

True. And it's probably easier as an audience member to get into the action in a small packed out building than it is everyone sitting in one section of a huge empty building. On a psychological level it probably just dampens everyone's enthusiasm to be facing a wall of empty chairs.

Most consistent run of good tv in AEW for a long long time. Basically all of 2025 so far has ranged from decent to excellent.

This was another fun episode that was a nice, easy watch.

I think general consensus is that while a lot of things are being booked really well and feel hot, like MJF Vs Hangman and Toni vs Mariah and Ricochet vs Swerve, the main event World title scene isn't very good.

I'm not saying it's now actually good or anything but I do think they've done a decent little repair job on the whole Deathriders thing. They've stopped booking them as if they're trying to take over the company with Mox cutting nonsensical promos hinting at random vague shit every week and just started to book them as generic, cheating heels.  It's still the thing I'm least looking forward to at the PPV but it's at least not immediate channel changer stuff anymore.

Finally caught up on Dynamite.

Beyond the gorgeous venue (I swear, they’re getting better each week!), my favourite thing was this sell from Ricochet, after Brodie squished him. Really funny.

The way Ricochet has turned his career around in AEW, it makes me wonder who else could succeed if they had the opportunity to jump ship to a new promotion.

During the DARK YEARS, when WWE had the monopoly and there was nowhere else to go, how many WWE shitarses could have actually been something if they had somewhere else to prove it?

Could Dolph Ziggler have actually been good?*

*Rhetorical. As if.

A bit of an average Collision. Mone was actually decent on comms.

I blanked out most of the stuff with Undisputed Kingdom. And the lucha match felt like it went on forever (Holograms music always makes me think of a game show), though it was decent.

Harley Cameron is coming on in leaps and bounds.

Pretty low effort filler episode of Collision.

Crowd didn't really seem to wake up until Hologram and Dralistico, put on the best match of the show.

I'm a Momo Watanabe fan but even I'm going to struggle to give a shit about a competitive match against Deeb. A short brutal squash against a jobber would have been more fun.

Also seeing Momo (member of Stardom's main heel faction) positioned as the face against Mone, is super weird to me. Of course that means nothing to %95 of this board.

Solid main event but as usual it's impossible to actually give a shit about the STP scrubs.

Hope all my Khan Ultras are doing well.

I haven't watched any wresting in about a month (last show I watched was Swerve vs Ricochet Dynamite) due to a combination of burnout*, switching internet providers and other general pesky life things getting in the way.

In an effort to avoid a backlog of JLM proportions, I'm going to attempt to watch one episode of AEW/ROH TV a day until I'm all caught up. I've somehow managed to stay spoiler-free too (for the most part)... I'm sure this Death Riders angle has stayed consistently strong!

Anyway, not sure what the point of this post is other than to say I'm looking forwards to being able to discuss the shows in here again some point soon with all you lovely people.

*to my point about burnout, I have no idea how some of you mentalists keep up with AEW and WWE. I tried it for about 3 weeks and that almost killed me! Anyway, WWE is rubbish so I've knocked it on the head and will be focusing purely on companies I enjoy. Lorne Malvo is All Elite, etc etc.

Excellent news! Welcome back, you’ve still got it etc etc.

I am currently in mid- February and have not had Revolution spoiled as yet. Progress is being made, Cole and Jericho matches are being SKIPPED. The catch up is possible.

I’m always up late so it’s easier. WWE If I don’t catch it live, I’m unlikely to catch up if I’m honest. And I actually watched the whole Raw last night because early start time and I wanted to see the main event which is rare. Smackdown gets normally the first hour and that’s enough, same with NXT. But I’ll watch clips if I missed something exciting. Dynamite is usually alright because it is something I’m completely vested in. Collision the same although Sunday morning I will usually get an hour or so spare so that’s probably the easiest watch.

Speaking of which, 12am start for Dynamite/Collision until our clocks spring forward. No idea when that is until there’s a thread in off topic.

It's been 5 minutes since the last tournament. So let's do another one.

Cassidy vs Hechicero is going go be an absolute banger and Ricochet doing his heel shtick against Shibata will be a blast. The wildcard must be Speedball so that'll be fun too.

I'm going with OC to win the whole thing.

Fucking YES! Cassidy vs. Omega on pay per view for the belt Cassidy made famous!

Watch the Wildcard be Chris Jericho, who wins the whole thing. Everyone wants to see the Battle of the Golden Jets, right?
