For whatever reason, his inclusion in this has made me realise I want to see Ricochet win the World title by the end of the year. He could be a gloriously obnoxious World Champion, who it would be hugely satisfying to see get absolutely smashed by his babyface opponents, before somehow managing to retain.

I'd love the wildcard to be Max Caster, for 2 reasons. Mortos deserves to actually win a match on Dynamite and more importantly, to see him do that headbutt when someone springboards towards him. Proper just wallop Max into another dimension..... It's gonna be Speedball though

They should do a Beast Mortos and Harley Cameron romance angle.

Pairing MJF with MVP seems like a very good idea to me. MJF has been pretty flat for a long time, while MVP has been a great addition to AEW. I hope this results in a partnership and not a feud.

I’m not sure I like Megan Bayne going after Toni Storm already. She was looking like a real force, and having her (I assume) lose already would be a mistake, in my opinion. I wouldn’t be against it if Bayne was to win in an enormous upset; but then you wouldn’t get the dream Storm/Mone match for the title. You could run the match anyway, but it’s something, I think, that would feel even bigger if there was a title involved.

I wonder if the Billie Starkz/Mone story will culminate in Athena making her main roster return? As much as I like Starkz, I’d much prefer to see Athena unseat Mone as champ.

Max Caster is a lot of fun at the moment, but where is Anthony Bowens? I’d have loved to see him in the International Title tournament.

Oh goody, we’re getting more Moxley/Copeland. I know it’s a TV match, but you know a feud is cold when even getting the match for free makes you groan. I’m assuming Ospreay will be the one to unseat Moxley as champion given what’s to come, which I’m fine with - but if that’s the case, All In can’t come around quickly enough. Moxley is dismal right now.

I thought it was a bang average Dynamite. The matches were mostly good. Speedball Mike Bailey. I know people like them, but I'm not yet convinced. Their finisher looked great though, i'll give them that, but barefoot wrestlers is something i've never got. Can't explain why. I know thats a weird thing on me.

I groaned when they announced Mox/Cope 2 next week. BUT, there must be a reason for it. Either they thought the match sucked and want a redo with some smoke and mirrors to hide limitations, or Cope is winning the belt. So I'll let it play out.

Megan Bayne was awesome. And whilst yeah they are setting her up to face Toni, she also took out Willow and Stat so I think it will be more of a build then a hot shotted feud. time will tell.

MJF was great tonight with MVP and Page. Interested to see where this goes. I'd be happy to see MVP/MJF/Hurt Syndicate, but I think it's a role reserved for Cedric and this is just a ploy. Interested to see what they do with Christian now it seems the Patriarchy are done.

Overall a 6/10. Matches were entertaining, stories are progressing, but it felt tepid coming out of the PPV and recent weeks.

I still can't stand Speedball.. there's no doubt he's talented but I'm allergic to that whole retro Karate Kid nonsense. I can't even say why but he gives "wrestler for funko pop collectors" vibes.

Do you think Mox got butthurt over the reaction to his match and went crawling to TK for do-over? Now he can show that he's hardcore.. shite.

Will's promo was something... I didn't hate it but a very weird tone right after having such a blood feud.

Toni's was perfect, she's got such a way of talking pure filth and making it work. Megan's an interesting choice, especially as she's in other feuds too. I don't want her losing this early though, hopefully the title match is a ways away.

It was one of those episodes where they set up different moving parts for future bits. I did enjoy the emphasis on how many people are focusing on Moxley and getting the belt or alluding to it. Cope, Christian, Osprey, Swerve, Jay White, Hangman, MJF. At least they all care and it's interesting. Jay White to absolutely fuck over Copeland next week. Looks like we're gonna get C&C Music Factory in AEW with that Christian bit.

Again Hanger & MJF was great, I loved that little confrontation. I enjoyed the pointing out how much MJF genuinely cares about acceptance but he's so far gone as a complete arsehole.

No problem whatsoever with Mox and Cope having a rematch. AEW is the Promotion of Second Chances! Stardust and Goldust had a rematch of their crap WWE match and it was one of the best matches of all time. Custard-pie-faced, “Wild Child of the Eighties,” Toni Storm was able to become one of the greatest characters in wrestling today, Queen of the Taipei Deathmatch. And Ricochet went from the Loser’s Loser, to Banter King, current heel of the year.

Plus, watching Mox vs. Cope back, it wasn’t that bad. They were just massively handicapped by a crap finish, an unsatisfying use of Christian’s cash-in, and having to follow arguably the greatest three-match run in the history of pro-wrestling pay per view. Good on them for wanting another go. I hope they smash it out of the park and shut everyone up.

Funniest thing will be TROUSER WATCH. Will Moxley wear normal, sensible kecks, suggesting he’s no longer sulking? Or is he sulking more than ever, DM’ing Seth Rollins to borrow the most ridiculous, distracting pair he can find? Given the ridiculous shape he’s in, and how desperate his entire act is for a refresh, I think it’s time to bust out DA TRUNKS. Best he's ever looked.

Can't say I'm bothered about Speedball. What've they got that the roster is currently missing? There face is very punchable so might make a decent heel one day. And the no shoes thing distracts me, I can't lie. Every time they did anything all I could think about was how much more it must have hurt them doing it without shoes on. Or why doesn't there opponent just immediately stamp on there toes?

Speedball has "wrestling Lee Moriarty on Honor Club by summer" vibes
