Hell maybe he'll actually win me over again, one day. Stranger things have happened, but right now he does nothing for me. 

While I'm at it, I'm also already tired of AEW's MITB knock off contracts. Bin em off.

Collision has followed a pattern over the last while - a very enjoyable show, which is suddenly ruined for me by Roddy Strong rearing his head when I least expect it.

This week, I braced myself for that appearance so I wouldn’t be caught off guard. But it didn’t come. Maybe I missed it, maybe my brain is protecting me and has blanked it out - I don’t know. But if he really didn’t appear, best episode of Collision to date.

The Max Caster stuff continues to be great - I’d bloody love to see him win the TNT title or something. 

Ricochet is kind of underutilised! I’d much prefer to see him chasing Hangman over MJF. He’s possibly the best heel they have, he’s so much fun.

Megan Bayne feels like a megastar. The entrance, the presentation, the dominant matches - I feel like she’s due a title soon. Maybe she’s the one to beat Mercedes?

Thekla also feels like a big deal. They’ve done a great job of compensating for Mariah May’s departure, although I still wish she hadn’t left. But they’re really nailing their signings for the women’s division right now.

Any other AEW+'ers finding last night's show refuses to work on Chromecast? Just shows "TV is buffering" constantly.

The show plays fine just in the app, and other things (previous episodes of Collision included) work fine on Triller. Just this particular show won't do it.

Nigel McGuinness vs. ZSJ in London is excellent match making. Should not only make for a good match, but a really lovely moment, too.

I'm kind of surprised that they haven't really leaned into Thekla's, loose cannon side.

Still not completely sold on Triangle of Madness, but they are growing on me. 

Megan Bayne, ditching the shitty F5 in favour of a power bomb, has been an instant improvement.

Overall a really solid Collision. Especially enjoyed Fletcher Vs. Ishii. 

Squash matches, old school shit house heel antics and breezy non wrestling segments. With some longer, solid matches to fill time. 

All I really want from 2 hours of pro wrestling.

Being honest, I've actually become quite attached to the Collision Crew. STP, LFI, Platinum Max, Ishii, etc.

Few things better than a decent Collision. Just a very easy and satisfying show to breeze through with a steady pace of action, characters and they usually give you a good main event with the babyfaces going over. Lovely stuff.

However I'm not loving the Triangle of Madness. Weird name, the gimmick isn't really clear other than "spooky!" and the talent gulf between Thekla and the other two is so huge I kinda feel embarrassed for them.

That main event made me long for a Hangman/Rush title programme so bad. I'd much prefer it to an MJF one, anyway. It's a shame Rush is so unreliable, he could easily be a top heel for them if he wasn't a fucking mental case.

Gave Dynamite a shot this morning whilst killing a bit of time. No real critique, but why does AEW continue to present that hardcam shot where they are clearly hiding the fact that half of the arena is empty? why don't they just reposition the camera and shot it from a different angle?

The Rush Hangman interactions were great yeah.

I loved the moment where Rush went for the cheap shot with Hangman on the apron and Hangman knew it was coming, ducked and smacked Rush instead.  You know Rush was on best behaviour there, willing to look silly and make the babyface look smart. 

The way AEW are presenting World Champion Hangman has been fantastic since All In. Night and day from his first reign.

It's not worth it. It's been there for so long that it's just natural. I normally notice in the opening shot and then I never think about it again. I'd imagine most of the audience don't know or don't care.

Absolutely right. Feels like the focus of everything. Isn't overshadowed by anything. Opened and closed some shows. Definitively dispatched of Mox. Now has a proper heel to beat. It's good stuff. Agree with Twoster that Ricochet is a great act, he should be next after Maxwell.
