I really like Brodido, but I don’t want to see them win the belts, at least not yet

I love Brodido too but likewise don't want to see them win the belts. They're a really fun team but I don’t think they should be a permanent long term team, both men have more to offer as singles guys. A short and fun run as a team they can go back to every now and again.

In kayfabe, Tony Khan and his graphics team are the fastest team on Planet Earth. Sometimes, it’s enough to make you think this might be somehow fake and the graphics are made before the challenges are thrown out and the matches are made official.

You'll find out on AEW: Unreal.

Edge going into the crowd asking about hoes was one of the clearest clues we've seen that he's such an anachronism in AEW. Uncomfortable, misogynistic and creepy.

Wasn't Copeland just referencing the funny promo Stokely did last week where he said he gets no ho's?

Really fun show overall.

Still loving the way they're presenting Hangman, an actual smart babyface that not only doesn't fall for the heels tricks but is capable of tricking the heels. That Cage match looks insane, it could be an absolute mess but I'm sure it'll be fun. The babyface team in particular is an all timer in terms of star power.

I've seen some complaints the Forbidden Door PPV just feels like a regular AEW PPV but I'm not sure why that's a bad thing. The concept doesn't really work anymore and NJPW are in very rough shape. I'd rather have an AEW PPV with new japan guys sprinkled in than have to watch Hangman vs EVIL or some shite like that.

Yeah, he was mocking Stokely, I don’t think he was being misogynistic at all. Who’d have thought it would happen against Stokely Hathaway, but I actually thought it was one of the best things he’s done since returning to wrestling.

Yes, but he took it way further than a one liner. He asked women in the audience to self-identify as hoes. A few women really awkwardly did so, and then he went and found a woman that was was apparently suitably hoeish and asked if Stoke had any chance of getting her. YMMV of course, and I'm not trying to claim it was like getting Trish to bark like a dog, or Stephanie doing favours for Vinces business associates or anything, but wrestling has such a...vivid...(recent history) of this stuff, so it made me wince. Proper 2000s level stuff

I understand your point and I'm not saying you're wrong but at least for me anyway it didn't come across as creepy and more like he was just having fun mocking Stokely. Maybe because it was obviously such a silly comedy line from Stokely, that's why it didn't bother me with Copeland mentioning it.

I agree with @RedTwoster too, I think generally Copeland in AEW hasn't worked at all but I thought last night was a good segment and a rare time he's fitted in.

For the longest time now every time Excalibur exclaims "And we've just received word Tony Khan has made the match" about half a minute after the shit does down, my head imagines a quick little Guy Ritchie cut of him hoovering a line up and going "BOOK IT" to somebody behind the curtain.

I quite like Alex Windsor, but her yelling her surname is getting quite annoying.

I've said this, but I was just walking round my house saying 'Windsaaaa' like a demented pirate.

As we’ve seen before, just saying you’re going to execute the contract isn’t enough - you have to physically sign it. With that in mind, MJF could easily backtrack on his promise.

Yeah, this was my fear during the segment - it's the "they're not dead unless you see them dead on screen" principle.

I'm now terrified Hanger wins at Forbidden Door, but then MVP saunters out and reveals it's all been a big ruse on behalf of the "young genius", the Hurt Syndicate come out and beat Hangman down while MJF signs the Money in the Clipboard contract we only thought he'd already used.
