I reviewed this ages ago somewhere on here. Love this match. Legitimately one of my favourite ECW matches ever and definitely my favourite of the Tajiri-Crazy series.

Tajiri is at his absolute peak in this match for me. Such a little shithead doing that and skimming chairs off a table into the audience and legit pissing them off because he actually nearly or did hurt them. Mutants. Good lad Tajgers.

Genuinely feel like Tajiri was one of the best wrestlers in the world in 2000. The matches with him and Mikey vs the FBI later that year were brilliant. 

I always wish Tajiri and RVD had a proper rivalry when they both came to the WWF in 2001. They had one cracker of a match for the Hardcore belt on Raw in the summer (and a tag on Smackdown the same week) but that was it. Shame. Would’ve been the perfect time to do it when RVD was as hot as he ever was coming in and one of the only positives during the Invasion. Then you’ve got Tajiri getting over through the backstage stuff with Regal and only just getting to show what he could do in the ring on the big stage. It was a rivalry we weirdly never got in ECW but could’ve been a bright spot during that Invasion bollocks. I get why they went with Jeff Hardy and Chris Jericho as RVD’s first two regular opponents though.

They could’ve got more out of these two.

Back on topic, I’m interested to see what else they throw on the channel from ECW. Doesn’t feel like there’s a lot of ‘Holy Grail’ type stuff with ECW, most of it’s already been out there in some form. I think uploading more stuff from the TNN and Hardcore TV shows is the way to go though. A lot of that stuff won’t have been seen or known about as much as the PPV stuff. I remember stumbling upon a RVD vs Masato Tanaka match on there a while back which I had no idea even happened, just found it by pure chance. Probably a bunch of stuff like that they could chuck on there.

I've said before that between 2000 and 2001 I don't think there was a more consistently brilliant wrestler than Tajiri. Just absolutely perfect in every role given to him, and didn’t have a bad match in him.

That is going to be a fun watch.  If I remember correctly, this was also the first WWE ECW house show.  The crowd were no doubt expecting something quite different when they bought their tickets.  Same as the two stand alone ECW TV episodes.

Just rewatched that Tajiri/Crazy deathmatch properly and yeah it's proper class that match. Tajiri puts in one of the best heel to the back rows performance he ever does and Super Crazy sells like hell for him. Tajiri is so good in ECW 2000. The little mischievous grin and those matches like this or that bloodbath with Steve Corino where it's just Tajiri kicking the ever loving shit out of him. He has a bit of an aura did Tajiri at the time.

Yeah that Corino match is probably the best of Corino’s entire run. Tajiri vs Psicosis is another ‘Buzzsaw’ banger from 2000 as well. And Tajiri and Mikey Whipwreck vs Super Crazy and Kid Kash from Massacre On 34th Street. He was on fire.

Not sure about others and I'm the furthest you'll ever get from being a pro wrestling purist, but to me the entrance is well and truly part of a match.

To have a video starting with the sounding of a bell usually just makes me switch off.

ECW matches will have dubbed themes, if they ever upload the rare Scott Hall ECW matches, he can't use Ready or not. Just loses a bit of the appeal.

The biggest casualty of that is New Jack matches having some shite stock music being dubbed over ‘Natural Born Killaz’ throughout the match.
