That clearance off the line was ridiculous. England were far too conservative and cautious throughout. Once again they had to go a goal down before they started to play. It's Pro-active vs reactive. Give big Sam another crack of the whip. Some flashes of brilliance when desperately needed paper over the cracks of some of the most abysmal, nothing happening football I can remember. It could all go to shite once Southgate goes, I know, but I'd rather see someone try and get a decent tune out of that squad than just play scales.
