Merzbow Posted March 15, 2024 Posted March 15, 2024 I'm guessing there will be AEW talent on the show, too. Mox is a regular. Those Bloodsport events never seem to be as good as they could, though. I guess when most people on the card aren't wrestling shoot-style very often like your UWFi and RINGS lads were they're gonna look a bit awkward trying it. Quote
Paid Members gmoney Posted March 15, 2024 Paid Members Posted March 15, 2024 I went to it live last year, and thought it was a hoot, really enjoyed it. Watching it back a few weeks later, it definitely seemed pretty flat in comparison. Maybe it was it was because it was the first show that weekend, or the fact it was in a tiny venue, or even the fact I was rock hard for Ibushi. Quote
Kfogg1991 Posted March 15, 2024 Posted March 15, 2024 Genuinely cannot believe this one. The Vince era is truly over and behind us because he would never do something like this. I know that Steph and Brett are friends but I didn't see this on the cards but it could be really interesting and good all round if they don't dictate and demand too much. Could this be a regular thing going forward I really don't know but this is another clear situation showing things are changing from how it was before Quote

There's usually decent stuff on there, but the whole card drags. Suzuki vs. Barnett was my favourite match all year, whatever year it was they did that - Barnett has carved out a niche for himself, where he's much better and has more of an aura than he ever did when he was more of a regular wrestler. In terms of AEW talent making the show, I don't know if Moxley will be on there this year as AEW seem to have cut back on the number of indie dates he's permitted to work, but Barnett will be wrestling Johnny TV. Paid Members waters44 Posted April 4, 2024 Paid Members Posted April 4, 2024 (edited) Shayna Baszler got folded up like an accordion earlier. Was quite a good match, pretty surreal to see her there and the lovely Zoey Stark was there with her Spoiler Edited April 4, 2024 by waters44 Quote
Paid Members air_raid Posted April 5, 2024 Paid Members Posted April 5, 2024 Did Sapp's big scoop about "multiple WWE talent" end up just being Baszler then? Clown. Quote
Merzbow Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 I saw the word Sapp and got excited there for a second, Bob would have been perfect. Quote

Merzbow Posted April 20, 2024 Posted April 20, 2024 Jeez that's a hell of wild lineup, I wish Funaki (not that one) had someone better than Bulldog Jr though. Quote
