As someone who dislikes both guys it should be fantastic. Trump will repeat the same talking points and be a moron as usual and Taker will be an embarrassing kiss arse for an hour, losing a lot of fans respect. Fuck both of them.

Is the podcast particularly popular? I dont think ive heard a single clip from it. Nothing has broken through the forum or twitter thats made me want to check out an episode. Trump has cancelled some big interviews and rallies the last few days. His team is making some strange choices.

The official reasoning is that apparently post Biden dropping out Trump's team think his best way to win is to get as many of his core voting demographic, white men with little to no education, to go out vote for him and hope it's enough to sneak an electoral college win and become president. There's no attempt to appeal to the centre or moderate his views and personality. He's just trying to energise his base.

Interviews with actual journalists risk revealing he's a moron in severe mental decline so he's mostly just sticking to occasional rallies and softball podcast interviews with right wing kiss arse grifters. He did a podcast interview a few weeks ago with a guy who has the gimmick of sniffing the seat of whoever his guest is, I think that would still be less embarrassing than doing an interview with the fucking undertaker.

I find myself hating the majority of Republican's for their insecure, gun loving, Christian-nationalist, grifting, prejudice bullshit - I have to admit, I've loved Takers podcast so far.

I had a perception in the past he may be a bit racist, but he definitely isn't. He also doesn't push any of his political beliefs. He just loves talking wrestling and road stories, and he's fucking brilliant at it. For me it's some of the best wrestling content on YouTube.

He should have just stayed quiet and kept up the illusion he was this cool guy rather than starting doing out of kayfabe interviews and podcasts and revealing he's a right wing moron.

His views certainly aren't for me either, but there's no point keeping them under wraps. It doesn't benefit him in any way. The vast, vast majority of wrestling fans would have been out the door long before now on a moral issue stronger than "Man has belief set of roughly half the rest of the country."

If you scroll through the comment feeds for any of his podcasts they're mostly and expectedly just "Two legends having it out. Love it!" He's dodgy enough for us to notice and dull enough to not get himself in serious jeopardy with it.

It might ruin some nostalgia, but by the turn of the century the fella was riding a motorcycle with Old Glory stuck in the back of it down to the ring with actual Kid Rock blasting.

And yet he's about to have one of the world's prominent and potentially powerful racists on his podcast. Maybe he'll bust out his old SS t-shirt for it.

Is it possible to push political beliefs more than having a presidential candidate on  your platform?

Yeah he's unlikely to interview Kamala Harris to be fair...

I fucking detest his nasally little arse licker co-host, but I personally think Big Mark is very interesting to listen to.
