Dai Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Ive read that post a few times abd still have no clue as to what the gameplan would achieve. Why/how would they turn on James A? Makes no sense. Doesnt achieve anything either. @BomberPat, the producers of the show have to try and spin that narrative, so probably told Maya to say it. You cant really have them tell the truth that it doesn't matter if its a Traitor/Faithful who gets voted out every time. In the same way Hannah Fry has probably done the maths and figured out you may as well vote randomly at the round table and would eliminate just as many faithful, but they cant exactly show stuff like that either. Two things I think would make the 'normal' version more interesting; Each Traitor voted off off means ten grand less that the Tratiors can win in the end (this should encourage some more interesting TV where they have some incentive to save people). Also, to make the challenges more interesting and not just team building exercises that middle management would do, the Traitors get to pocket all money they cost the Faithfuls, which would hopefully encourage some to sabotage. Paid Members TheBurningRed Posted 5 hours ago Paid Members Posted 5 hours ago If Jerry goes, Maya and James can easily put the blame on Ross for murdering her in plain site and get him banished. He came into that room and touched Jerry on the arm before sitting down. I’m sure they noticed it. Quote
TibBo Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I know the Traitors are pretty terrible in this series, but it really is an awful idea killing in plain sight when there’s only 4 people in the room, and two of them are Traitors. Probably the best thing that could happen for them is no-one yawns? Quote
deathrey Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Yeah I agree, even if one of Maya or James leave the room, it still narrows it down to two. If they get rid of Ross the automatic next person to eliminate is Maya or James, there is no win. As I'm not a regular watcher, if they don't make anyone yawn, do the Traitors have to pay a penalty? Richard fucked himself and while the selection of Hannah wasn't the best move James and Maya have both voted for the traitor both times. Hardly anyone is mentioning either of their names. Recruiting the most trusted faithful in Kenny was a smart move so define terrible for me again. Quote
Awards Moderator HarmonicGenerator Posted 3 hours ago Awards Moderator Posted 3 hours ago I really like the Maya and James pairing, I kind of want the overarching story of the series to be them running through one third-Traitor after another, while they both survive every time. Quote
Paid Members Arch Stanton Posted 3 hours ago Paid Members Posted 3 hours ago I'm interested to see how the yawn task plays out, because the way they filmed that last episode, it looked a lot like Ross suddenly became highly suspicious of Maya. Both her and James appeared to be really over-egging the yawning. Quote

That’s similar to how “The Mole” works on Netflix. One unknown person is working to undermine the rest of the team and they have to try and find who it is. I think there’s enough weird dynamics in the tasks without going down that route. Quote
