Most famous for his work in the LA Laurel Canyon scene during the seventies, he was a friend and collaborator of the likes of Linda Ronstadt and Warren Zeon and co-wrote some hits for Eagles. RIP.

A man that 99% of the world had never heard of in June 1990, despite the fact he played for Juventus, and a month later, a name they'd never forget. I miss the days when the world of football was massive. When Transworld Sport was the only gateway into the unknown. When a Toto Schillaci would come from nowhere to carry Italy to a World Cup semi-final on home soil. 59 is no age. Rest in power, Toto, you legend.
